Are the names for Elder Staff and Omnirod mixed up?

And the Lore of FFXIV doesn't have much to do with the Lore of other Final Fantasy universes. While it may have been one way in a game before, that doesn't mean it has to be that way in another game. By the standards and lore set for FFXIV, the mod is saying that the team says the names are properly associated. The issue with the name is purely a fan issue that doesn't need to be addressed as far as they are concerned.

It's probably a mistake on the Japanese database side then. Clearly the items were supposed to be the other way around and someone messed up.

If i recall correctly SCH's where active healers(like magical doctors i suppose) when they where not fighting wars. you actually have to go around healing NPCs for one of the quests.

Or people could not have the mindset of a 4 year old. The names they used are perfectly fine. Sorry they didn't call the nations grassland, hot town and the beach. I suppose you'd want Paladins named metal sword guys and Internal release to be called get stronger
