That's not what I was implying at all (at least not me)
I was saying that yea it's gonna suck, but you can still manage it. I'm no hardcore player at all and I estimate 2 months max for our FC to acquire the necessary funds to have us a house to play in!

What if that same content would take you 5 years, like it will for me. Or, let's be generous, 1 year. If it took you one year to afford housing, would you still think this was reasonable pricing?

How about this then, how do you feel about the Coil loot lockout?

Stop that, If it takes time and effort all the plots in the available instances will be gone..so taking time may well mean your efforts are for nothing. You do know that plots and instances are finite, right? This feature has been removed from most FC's realm of possibility. Oh, housing isn't a luxury it is pretty much standard in most MMO's and usually free for the most basic model...upgrading housing is where the gil/time sink should be.

Look, I'm going to say this really slowly so all of you can understand.

Many Free Companies expected to be able to afford small housing. (not the largest)

Many Free Companies expected to be able to afford small housing within a few months of the release.

Many Free Companies will not be able to afford the smallest house at the steepest discount for a year or more. That is why we are upset.

We did not want a mansion, and we did not want it immediately upon downloading the patch and logging in to the game.

Yeah sure, maybe at 2.2 they ll make us pay the access to the second part of bahamut coil. I don't know why we'd be able to enter a dungeon for free.

It took a baddie like me one month to reach and clear T4, that's supposed to be the second hardest content on the game (until 2.1).

Why are you settling with having to farm gil for two months, to even gain access to something that's supposed to be a fun, relaxing feature?

I honestly do not understand, maybe this is why I'm so indignated with it, even though I'm not interested into having a FC house.

In all likelihood, the devs will see so few houses being bought that the price will be adjusted. Either gil will become more easily obtainable in the patch and the economy will adjust. Either way I think just a SMALL amount of patience is in order, rather then everyone losing their mind over this and cancelling their subs.

We want items like Relics and Top-end gear to take time and effort...and SKILL to get. But still overall, obtainable by all over time. Meaning, sure it can be hard, and time consuming...but the only difference in when you get it should be how much time you devote to getting it...not rng...not 'what server you originally decided to make home' and also not be solely based on how many hours you can stand grinding for gil (within reason...sometimes the gil grind IS okay as part of the process). The reason these items should be difficult to obtain is because they are PROGRESSION and STORY based...but they also almost always have lower end/easier to obtain versions of themselves for people to use until they can 'earn' their prize.

Currently you can go from nothing to Relic+1 In 3 weeks. Say what?

Meanwhile, content that was meant for socalizing, goofing off and just showing off your FC's history...THAT content, you have a huge gil wall to surpass....just to get in the door...actually not even the door, you just bought the land, you still need to buy the door. Furthermore, if you don't use it enough to SE's liking...all that work is forfeit. If I go on a 1-month from vacation from game...I don't lose my Thyrus+1 or Allagan gears....

Add to that, even though there's tiers to invest in (ie you could buy the small lot), the reality is, depending on your server that's either an easy or monumental task in and of itself. Make the big houses crazy-hard to get. But a modest FC home? Please...

And none of this even comes close to addressing the fact that on the newer/lower-population 'New Player' servers the pricepoint for the MOST Expensive house is 62.5Million, which isn't even enough to by a the lowest end Mid-sized house on ANY Legacy Server....where people HAVE already been 'gil grinding' for a house for years.
If SE really didn't think FC's should all have a house then:
1. It shouldn't be something we can buy as a level 6 FC...we should need to be level 10+ and make it harder for FC's to even earn that level.
or
2. They should improve need for larger FC's via in-game content that requires group cooperation of more than 8 people at a time.

But most importantly PUBLIC HOUSING shouldn't bankrupt individuals....INDIVIDUAL Housing should
