They don't need a quote. Read up intellectual property law. It's illegal to profit off of someone else's property w/o permission. Whether or not you believe Hanabira isn't their problem, it's yours.

It is an extreme escalation of a similar concept. The degree in which people are affected is entirely different as well as the impact however it is the escalation of the same concept.

Jail time isn't normally a result of Copyright/Intellectual Property cases, it's typically a fine and damages as it's a civil case, not criminal. second tons of people have been sued for it way back in the day. there is a reason most Gold/Gil seller sites are based in China these days, China does not recognize international copy right/intellectual property rights, which makes it very hard to take legal action.

Yes, today was worse than any other single day yet in terms of the barker gil spamers who shout, yell and tell for short periods, then get banned, then get replaced, Hydra-like, with even more lvl1 barkers. I must have put something like 15 on my blacklist, also reported all of them which was a pain, while doing some marathon crafting in Ul'duh. Three would pop up, I would blacklist/report, then 15 minutes later several more would appear. Rinse and repeat. Something has really stirred the hornets nest.

"restock" aka steal more people's accounts and trip them of their belongings....scumbags...to think people actually buy from them, its ridiculous.

Its such a simple solution too.. limit how many shouts you can send in a minute. And if 1 person hits 50 blacklists in a 15 minute period. flag them and escalate it for banning. a GM sees their recent messages. instant ban.

I don't even know why those rats think that spamming people will get them more costumers, if anything it's going to piss them off and make them never want to visit their stinky sites.
