Firstly that wouldn't be irony it would be hypocrisy, Secondly, and I cannot stress this enough, a persons gender Identify is NOT political just because politicians believe they have the right to discuss it and decide what rights people can and can't have does not make it political, is being black Political? is being a woman political?

Secondly you do NOT get to disagree about this, again just like you don't get to disagree with equal rights for women, or black people or gay people etc. Trans people exist and they deserve equal representation if you disagree with that statement are an awful person there is no debate around that.

that is certainly the solution for the time being for people who are playing on pc and are willing to break the terms of service. i think this functionality should also be available for people playing on console and pc players who do not wish to break the terms of service.

but isn't that exactly what miracle diva is saying? a ftm trans person can play as any of the male characters, an mtf as the female ones
they can be what they want to be already, why do they want to be represented by a thing that many trans people struggle and have problems with, namely getting misgendered? anectodal evidence coming up, but the few trans people I know that play XIV absolutely hate that preferred pronouns plugin because of it

If one is not willing to break the ToS to get the experience they want then clearly they do not want it that bad. Sometimes you got to break the rules to get what you want. :P

Nah. Keep it in the real world. There's nothing that needs to be added that regular game role play won't solve. It doesn't need to go beyond that.
