These were Siren players. Im not on a low pop so I don't see what they see. Just see what some are saying. Im all for the removal of wanderers in firmament for you guys. I just feel bad because of how slow your progression is from here on out..and it may cause problems when new content is released later on.

Yes I have taken three instance into consideration. They all would still get congested if you're not there in the first 2min that Ixion gets called out. That's why lochs camping was a very common. What helped prevent congestion in these instances for an hour or more was the random spawn timer. Else, an instance with Ixion spawning in the next hour would be congested already, which has happened one time when one instance passed 70hrs respawn time.

So yeah you did have three chances, but you just had to be really quick if you're not already in the zone. Which is the point I'm trying to make here, an instance can still get locked and prevent people from participating by its own server players. Don't need wanderers to make sure that happen on high-pop servers.

To be honest, if you weren't able to get into the instance of your own world, then you're mostly not contributing to your world yourself lol. So you're no different than a wanderer profiting from the work of others.

I think it was a good change personally. It looks like for Aether servers, at least, are all within 40% of each other. Cactuar is the furthest around 50%, Siren around 10% or more.

If it becomes an issue, I'm sure there will be ways people can help the other servers without crowding them out. I would say hand out mats to people asking, but people getting burned on that kinda hard.

The idea of putting a hand in npc in Foundation at the Aetheryte would be a good idea I think. People could contribute to help servers directly.

Can't edit my prior post to include this for some reason. Most high pops complain cause lost extra scrips. I'm not. Im geniunely concerned over small pops lost chance at the leaderboards, staying up to date with progression, and no possibility of getting locked out of content down the road until caught up. Having to stand by while others enjoy new stuff sucks (not saying this WILL happen but even the smallest chance bothers me.)

If the smaller servers are truly happy with their progression speed then wonderful. After all what matters most is the ability to enjoy the content for everyone.

If people are so desperate to help low pop servers maybe they should transfer to them. Tbh Ishgard isn't a race, we don't need a fate every day and if it takes some days to reach goals on low pop servers...what is the problem? Not being finished with the whole content after 1 week after the patch came out? This "rush it" mentality is really crazy, we have months to do all that stuff and if low pop servers really don't reach their goals then SE can still adjust their points needed for the goal and the world would be balanced again.

Sacrificing some players who wanted to help compared to letting thousands of greedy players rampaging around is a really good deal in my eyes.

Very much so. I've waited a long time for Ishgard and I'd love to be able to contribute and watch the progress happen at a natural pace so I can actually enjoy it.

It's clear SE is monitoring this progress closely and I trust that they'll make adjustments as necessary (as they already have) to keep things flowing smoothly. If a content patch is approaching and some servers are behind where they need to be I'm sure they'll allow others to help again, but until then I want to just enjoy this real-time progression instead of high-pop overflow coming in to speedrun my server's content.

You're really stretching it with your claims, here. I addressed what you brought up, which was brought up by others also against this change (multiple times, I addressed this...) but you chose to ignore it, for whatever reason. Again, instances on their own would solve nothing. Those who weren't contributing would continue on that path, hopping from FATE to FATE, profting off the work of others, offering nothing in return. For the last time, high pop servers that experience congestion can have instances implemented, but again, why they didn't do that from the get-go is anyone's guess.

Bottom line - SE has the hard data to back up the exploitation of the system, and they acted as they saw fit.

Everyone would still be able to participate. That's the only problem that had to be solved. You seem to be upset that people weren't contributing, but they aren't contributing now, either.

The only thing that had to be solved is that people should be able to participate. That isn't solved on large servers with this change. Therefore, this isn't the best solution.

Progress speed is locked behind the stockpile level, and I don't think any off-worlders were contributing to another worlds stockpile, only invaded the zone for the fate and then left. At least that is what I experienced, but could be different on other DCs.
