Some suggestions, mostly quality of life, obvious things

I didn't take the time to read the entire thread to see if there was already somewhere this was posted, but i have been in some games where there was an option to gear your current class/job with the BiS gear you have in your inventory. This would help me immensely because i don't know how many times i have leveled alt classes and went to the vendor or Market and bought something only to go equip it and see that i had 4 of them already xD

Stop moaning guys, we will get vanity slots with Patch 3.0 and nipples/ bigger crotches! Really looking forward to it.

Please add a search to the bags and retainer... also it would be nice to be able to kick someone from a duty finder party, there is people who go afk or do crazy things..

Click something in HUD, press cntrl+home. That will change the size.

  There is actually a secret control limited to players who use a mouse to control the game. By right clicking on the status, class, and/or grand company icons you can switch between selecting/deselecting all. Please try it out. :D

While in "Movement Setting: Standard Type" (PC user) I have no way to quickly run backward (hitting the back button just make the character to slowly walk back).
The only way to make myself run back is turning my char view, but there's no quick way to it, especially if your not using the mouse.

Can you add an option to quickly turn the character back (by hitting some button of example) or just make the back button do it?

It's a bug, you can configure clock to be 24h but it stays am/pm.

When a character is banned or deleted, automatically delete characters on friend list and blacklist? For example my blacklist is filling up fast with gold spammers and I have to manually remove names all the time in order to add more. Would it be possible to automatically remove deleted characters? Instead of seeing "deleted" in my blacklist...

Also the ability to invite to LS/FC without being in my friend list or party.

First: I fully support the idea of auto-cleaning the blacklist, as well as FC and LS lists, of Deleted characters and Banned characters.

That said, in my experience RMT spam are not always marked as (Deleted). In fact most of the time I have seen (Deleted) are cases where the players/spammer deleted the character themselves, as opposed to being banned. The (Deleted) also shows up when a character uses world transfer service I believe. (I have seen this in a LS)

I would appreciate official clarification of this if possible: do banned RMT/Cheaters always get marked as (Deleted)? If not, can they be/would it be possible to change it so that banned characters get marked as (Banned) or (Deleted), if the various lists cannot be cleaned automatically?

Seriously, the amount of UI changes/fixes/improvements coming down the pipe for 2.1... it is going to need it's own webpage to fit it all. This guy and his team deserve a medal! haha!

If only the network/netcode department was as talkative as the UI department...

Probably too busy, but would be really nice, specially for this part. I know they mentioned in the past that explaining stuff like this will just confuse people, but saying something at least would help people know that it's being looked into, even though I'm sure & I hope that it's being looked into. (Last P.Letter YoshiP mentioned the network guy had to go overseas to check it out, so I know they are working.)

That simple "Hey guys, we're trying our best, sorry for problems but we'll keep you guys updated" really helps.

You can do this using the player's conctext menu (right click on the char on pc) or by making a search first and clicking on their name.

but that's what the legacy movement is for o.O

(if you're against legacy moment because of the camera following option, I'd rather they add that option to the legacy settings instead of changing the normal movement settings, since some people may prefer it that way - because of mouse turning)

I'm not sure if anyone ask this already or this will be change in 2.1 or later but I saw nothing about it.

Please could we change the size of the text in the buble while getting quest.
I play on TV in Full HD (pc link on TV and playing with a pad) and the text can't be resize like the one of the log. Same thing for text on the map it's way too small.

Names of character are really big in comparison and I don't care to read the name of everyone on my screen.

Please allow us to change text size for all UI.

Isn't this option just for the timestamps in the chat-window? I mean the clock in the upper right corner, next to the network-info.

Can we please have Steady for SCH faeries behave like Obey, where ordering them to use a skill doesn't make them use other skills automatically? Since they don't attack it seems strange that we have to target an enemy and use an order intended to have our pet attack before we can use their skills manually.

Has there been a question ask or anything about making a icon on gear to tell them that the gear is linked to a Gear Set?

I have been experienceing proble ms to the point that my Armory Chest has been reaching full levels because I keep failing to remember what gear is linked to what gear set...


Are there any plans to add this feature to make it easier to decide what I want to sell or what I want to covert to materia?

This is only possible if you can see the player on your screen. What if they are across the world? I would like to ability to invite by right clicking their name in chat.

Social Lists > Player Search > Put in search parameters and click 'Execute' > Right click on name > Choose from several invite options

They do not need to be on your friend list or standing anywhere near you.

Yes,but it would make sense for it to switch the clock as well. Why would you want to have the clock in 12h, chat in 24h format. Though, it's SE we're talking about so you can never know. The option doesn't currently work though.

Please create a new lvl 50 fishing spot where you can get all of the different fish but you need the correct bait for them, and give us a tackle box that holds all of the different bait.

Please create new item level 80+ armor that is primal themed.

Please give crafters new item level 60 recipes for all of the DOL and DOH level 55 class gear.

Haha was going to reply "Because SE" but then i read the rest of your post :P It worries me that this is such a small thing that it will never be fixed but because it is such a small issue it irritates me even more that it hasn't been fixed :( READ THIS SE, PLZ!

A primal change that I've been mulling over but never mentioned (or noticed it being mentioned) before: make Table Flip (aka Mountain Buster) split damage like Triumvirate; should instantly make the Duty Finder fixed party composition relevant for Titan HM. Currently, when DFing, you're forced to run with a tank that has no role and overstressed healers (unless both healers and the main tank are really well geared).

Also, make the "Server Time" clock for the NA servers show the same timezone they use for the maintenance / event announcements (that is, variable). Or make everything use UTC. UTC is the one true timezone. UTC banzai.

Situation: Gamepad Scholar selects Sacred Soil from crossbar. Targeting area is shown. Scholar aims and presses confirm on the gamepad, and....Physick is cast instead! The Scholar realizes they've failed to deactivate the crossbar before confirming the cast of Sacred Soil.

Solution 1: Have moves that require manual targeting turn off the active crossbar when they are initiated. I've not been able to come up with a situation in which a player would want the crossbar to remain active while attempting to utilize one of these skills. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Solution 2: Fix/modify the macro command /crosshotbar display to activate/deactivate the crossbar. I see that the command appears to toggle visibility for regular hotbars, but that action doesn't make sense in the context of a crossbar. Currently, the command appears to do nothing for crossbars, but I think having it toggle the crossbar's active state on or off makes sense given how crossbars behave currently.

i could use some ingame notepad with working map links, item links etc.

I'd really love to see more gear for chocobos and the mounts! Like saddles and sidebags?! (it'd be cool if it even functioned like satchels and sacks from XI! offload all your gathering and crafting mats onto the birds!)
And an Eorzean Alphabet poster for our FC house! I LOVE reading all the signs, and so do others in the FC, but some letters*, ALWAYS throw me off!

When gathering, you may have noticed times that the nodes on the mini map would disappear and re-appear. This happens because the mini map is currently populated by information received from the player's camera. In patch 2.1, we will be changing this so that information is pulled from the character instead.

I know this is a few days old but I am already able to right-click on a player's name in the chat log to invite them. Looking at your previous posts, I am also able to invite directly from LS or FC by right clicking their name on the list (or square button on gamepad).

Can we have separate volume settings in the system configurations for

a) town/field bgm
b) cutscene bgm
c) battle bgm

or even toggle on/offs for each type of bgm

I'm not sure if this is working as intended but...

Like synthesis, crafting mats won't be lost if cancelling the synthesis that hasn't started (step 0) even though you have already set up everything and be prompted the synthesis window.
However, for unspoiled nodes, why the nodes disappear after I opened up the node window and canceled it without even started mining? The time hasn't expired. Lower level nodes don't have this problem. Is this a bug? Or, working as intended? If it's the latter one, why?
