I would be in favor of adding jump if you used it twice in a row then your character would get insta-banned.
Jumping in-town would be insta-ban.
There could be an area where players could use unlimited jump. It could be called McEorzea Playplace.

This was exactly what SE intended to do. Not sure if you saw that thread.
Indeed, he's just really bent on thinking everyone is against it simply if they've played XI before or not adamantly pushing for it.
Anyone that actually knows me knows I love the hell out of FFXIII and wish they would have did to it what they did with VII, flesh it out in prequels and sequels (just not as MUCH as they did, but we're kind of thrown into a world which alone could spawn a prequel, for example a year or two prior to the events of XIII, or even back before Vanille and Fang were crystalized.)
Actually I'm not against jump, never have been. Simply because I play FFXI you assumed I was.
Why is it that whenever a new idea is posted on these forums people always start saying things like:
Do you guys really want the already incredibly low population to become even lower? I was under the assumption that people here wanted the game to succeed? Isn't that why people are still playing and imputing new ideas?Quote:
This game doesn't need X. Go play another MMO if you miss it so much.
That's why i call these people selfish. They don't care for the game's success but only for their own ambition. This is an example not saying it is only the FFXI fanboys, but some of these FFXI fanboys would rather see this game turned into what will please them and remind them of XI even if it means lowering any chances of it being successful or reaching SE's goals of making it mainstream and appeal to million of players around the world.
