Don't shoot the messenger here but it may have something to do with PSN (PlayStation Network) authorisation. I've had similar experiences in other games where multiple platforms were concerned. Shop items had to go through PSN approval before they could be rolled out which often only impacted PS players but S-E seem to adopt a, "Everyone receives or no one does" approach.

No actually the phone call did not work. It still took a few days to actually get my restoration through. And this was after replying to the in-game ticket several times.

Also Yes, I fianlly got my restoration after a month of banging my head against a wall.

And yet again.. the PS3 hampers the good things. It is probably the case.. who knows.

I doubt it has to do with PS3 considering the sale of the fantasia will be on the mog station, which should not affect the playstation network.

I want to buy these SE! Please give us a date :(

woot, got my fantasia reimbursed with my one time item restore today, after petitioning about 3 weeks ago and sending another email 2 days ago i was finally reimbursed last night!

What's with all these people being "reimbursed"? Did everyone somehow lose their fantasias to a glitch or are they all just abusing the system for a free one?

People messin up with Fantasia, didnt like or didnt get used to the new looks, than ask for the Phial of Fantasia back to restore his/her looks....since there's no other way to get another one.
At least thats what most of them say.

I kinda miss lalafell sometimes, but I simply want the OPTION to change if I want.

So I made a GM cal explaining my problem on the 27th and on the 29th I received a reply saying they would be happy to do a 1 time restoration of the Fantasia for my account :) ! It took them 2 days to reply so hopefully my fantasia will be in the mail anytime now ^^

Same. I had to reply to their in game message that i happily accept the one time recovery. Now... the wait....

Still waiting.. I log on every chance I get to see if it came into my mailbox. Nothing so far. That moment when I do will be.....

I check the forums every day to see if they announced a date when these will be sold :P

People wern't happy with the result and used their one time item restoration to receive another Phial of Fantasia.

No glitches, no bugs, just using the one-time service to get the item restored.

Update: Got a message from them telling me thanks for my patience, the have many requests, and are looking into my case. Glad they're keeping me updated. Can't wait till i get it.

Update: Got my bottle!! 4 days.

It's been so long since I made the mistake of changing to Hyur... I want to change back to Miqo'te already...please SE?

Just posting my experience with item restore service.
Sent a ticket in-game on 25th, they replied on 26th, then 6 days later got my Fantasia in mail.
Good luck to rest of you.

i'm rly hoping we'll get it in 2.2, i wanna change race/sex every month if i want to dammit :P

Now that they're anouncing the Lightning Returns Event again I really wanne get the Lightning gear, so I wanne switch gender...
I'm not saying there's something wrong with Snow, but I just like Lightning a hell lot more...
But I read it's not possible to just choose between wich gear to buy? you simple trade the coupon and get the Snow gear as male character, or Lightning gear as female :(

So I can't really wait for the potion to restore (missed the last event since I stopped playing for a couple of months), plus I read somewhere else that its only possible to restore it if you have used it last in the past 10days, and it been way longer than that!

I used my Fantasia in October of last year and sent in an item restore request on December 31st. Got it back around the second week of January after sending in another ticket to "remind" the support team of my original request. :P So it's not too late to send in an item restore request if you really want it back. There's a fair chance you'll get it anyway regardless of having used it outside the 12-day window since the Fantasia is an account-bound item and not say, a random item you got from a loot roll that you later discarded.

As for selling Fantasia on the Mogstation as an optional service: YES, PLEASE. Although I'm happy with my current race choice (went from Miqo to Lala then Hyur, wanted to try them all!), I would love having the option of changing my race later on when I want to revitalize my character, so to speak. People's tastes change with time; they should be given the opportunity to customize their characters to match.

More Fantasia potions are good, however I would appreciate it if SE makes them free. Perhaps claim-able from certain NPC once per month?

I would hate it if I have to pay for changing my appearances in this game. Please keep this game away from cash-shop model. Fantasia / changing appearance does not make or break gameplay nor affects other players. You should not be charged for doing it.

Oh and, perhaps it'll be nice if SE adds Eye Color (you know, contact lenses) change option in Aesthetician. Please.

They so need to add this. Don't even have to sell it thru Mog station. If they consider 10K seals a lot to reset stats then equal that. Or even double if they're worried about it being abused. Offer it thru GC rewards.

But really, just offer it already.

They're standard paid services in MMORPGs...
No they r not cash shop, there's a whole differentence btw service and shop....when we see items like Mounts, Clothes n stuff like there, there's a shop.

Considering i'm sitting on almost 70-80k seals, that'd be a very silly option.

It would have to be very, very, very expensive.

I think I have the record for the fastest Fantasia restore ever. Took a day in a half to get my Fantasia back.

Would love to hear a set date for it from SE. It would be so much better if they would just give us a concrete answer. I don't even understand why it's taking so long to implement. The item's database is already on the game, the way to deliver it is already on the game they just have to put it up on the mogstation with a set price. Heck Square Enix is crediting FFXIV: ARR for digging them out of a potential financial loss if they start selling Fantasia then there's more profit for them...
