@Armell, I'm going on 4 weeks waiting for mine. Thinking of just calling their phone support on Monday. This is getting stupid.
its not just good for SE, its good for the rest of us....Why put limitations on it? Is someone here really the type to get butthurt if i bought one every single day and kept changing races? If so, thats pretty sad. But think of it this way....if there are no limitations, we can buy it when we want, and that money can go to more features, better servers, lower subscriptions? anything...really...i don't understand the cooldown and how in the world fantasia could be abused.
I must have been extremely lucky, looking at some of these responses. I put my ticket in on the 22nd - I specified my character name, and which world I used the fantasia in. About a day or so later, they sent me a confirmation email saying that they were 'looking into it' and thanked me for my patience. Earlier today, I received the fantasia in my mog mail. It took 4 days for it to arrive. I'm honestly not sure why it takes longer for some and shorter for others :(
Maybe crafters will be able to produce it.
I want it nowwwwwwwww
:P
I see talk about a cooldown on it, is that just rumors or did SE actually say it? I'm just hoping they don't put it for a crazy amount, even though that'd be good for the game because people would still buy it, it'd also put people off if its like 10-20.00.
I did this too Omega. In-game -> GM master services. I've sent various messages/emails to them, and I keep getting a "we're looking into it, your request is being processed" for the past 2 weeks. Unless there's a severe problem with my case (I can't imagine what it could be, seriously) I don't know what the problem is. They've even sent replica emails asking me to "confirm" to my "1 item restore" request. I've done this twice now. It's almost as if whatever I'm requesting just isn't sticking with them, and I'm going around in a time loop lol.
Wow, after a 15 day wait, I finally received my fantasia in the mog mail 15 minutes ago. I cannot believe it. My whining on the boards in the past 2 days has obviously worked wonders =P
I hoped they would start selling these in time for the second lightning fate event. I suppose that won't be the case.
All in all, I sent almost 10 different emails to them. For each one I received an automated reply. "We are sorry you are unhappy with your appearance, and we are currently processing your case" x10. However, what seemed to have done it is my somewhat nasty and rude email I sent them a couple of days ago. (It was my last email I sent). In it, I basically said how poor the customer service was. I did not use curse words, I was polite to a degree, but I was also blunt. I guess it hit a nerve and they gave me my fantasia last night. FINALLY.
Just wanted to point out that the JP players feel the same way about this as we do:
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...81%97%E3%81%84
In fact, their thread is about just as long. :P
Still no news about this, huh?
Shame. People are ASKING to pay money for Fantasias. Get on that, SE!
Still waiting. Calling their phone support in about an hour to get this resolved.
Called their phone support and waited about an hour on hold to be told "sorry we can't help, contact a GM" even after clearly stating how aggravated I was.
So let's recap:
Been about 2 1/2 weeks since I got a reply via email support saying "we're looking into it"
Been about just over a week since I've gotten the same answer as the email response
Just called phone support and got nowhere.
Jesus. I want to get my fantasia back BEFORE the next FFXIII event so I can make 100% sure I have lightning hair and not risk loosing event hair by changing my character's gender.
I got my fantasia just now as I am typing this, I figured I'll share my experience since I was using this forum myself to look for answer.
I first put my ticket in on the 21st of January and I clearly stated that I want to use item restoration policy so in a sense they should go ahead and proceed their investigation but no. 2 days later the 23rd of January they replied my 1st ticket only to tell me something I already knew that it's a one time use policy and to submit a GM Call to request restore policy, which mean another massage I have to sent same day, 2 days later the 25th of January they replied saying they will help me but need investigation and today the 27th of January got my fantasia. Overall experience I wouldn't say terrible but it was a run around, specially the GM Call button, to this day I still can't find that button anywhere.
So guys 2 days for SE to reply each time. This request seem to take about 1 week to get done. Hope this help those who need some answers.
I made the mistake of listening to my husband when he said I would get 2 fantasias. I wanted to change my appearance but unsure if I would actually like being a tiny Lalafell, my husband convinced me that I would receive 2 fantasias and that if I didn't like it in a month I could change. Well 1 month comes and after researching found out he had 2 because of the patch adding male miqote. I put in a bug report ( wasn't sure where else to put) on Saturday and still have heard nothing from them.
I was right I don't like being so tiny!
Little edit - just found where to send a GM message - saw that helped some, hopefully they will help me soon too ^^
Here's a little more help on that GM Call button
System - Support Desk type in search box "GM Call" and select "how to contact a game master" then click "ask question" in the window. You will automatically get question 1 as "In-game" and "game master services" as your question 2, just fill out the title and body and send it.
good luck!
I wonder why this is taking so long to implement.
So here are some numbers. I requested my Fantasia to be restored 100 days after using it. I received my Fantasia 10 days after placing a ticket. I received the Fantasia 1 day after I cancelled my ticket because I changed my mind. OH WELL.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I still hold the record on Fantasia restoration wait-time. It was day 41 (6 Dec-15 Jan) before they decided to grant my request.
Dubious honor, for sure.
I feel for you guys hitting the 2-week and up mark, though. It's really frustrating to feel like SE is just jerking you around for laughs.
I am adamantly opposed to cash shops, but as the OP stated, this affects nobody but the player. It should be a service.
I put in my request item restoration request, let's see how long it takes.
While you're at it Square Enix, please give Seekers of the Sun beauty spots!
How about being able to buy a Fantasia potion in-game? For like, 1000 Myth tomes?
I'd love to see an additional Fantasia handed out as part of a six month or one year playing award, or even as an increased cost version of the Aesthetician, perhaps a curious Alchemist/Witch type of character who brews rare potions not found anywhere else in the game.
I am a little leery of real currency fees for services in a game as it's a slippery slope, but I'll admit, my first Fantasia use makes me wish I was a Lalafell again, though I do love my Miquote.
i REALLY hope this is out by 2.16(february)
hopefully during feb....
hopefully.... cmon square, this isn't hard :(
