You are not specifically "told" the newbie bonus is compensation for any and all inconvenience/waiting. You are just stating that to further justify your argument here. If anything, the notification specifically says "One of more party members are new to this duty. A bonus will be awarded for Swift completion of objectives". Basically this can be misleading and make people rush.

Also, there are no "Terms". Just unspoken rules of FFXIV.

Ah yes, two people from the same server having the same opinion, must be multi-boxing. Does that mean everyone in this thread being rude from Jenova is also multi-boxing? Idk about the other person, but I post on my alt as to avoid targetted harassment. But yes, go ahead and try to shut down conversation by accusing those who don't agree with you as being the same person. 'Cause obviously, my opinions are so ludicrous that I am the only player who feels that way. These forums as a whole are an echo chamber. Anyone who steps out of line is shut down immediately by being deemed a troll.

And if they are on a console with no keyboard? How long do you wait before deciding they are being "silent and are ready" despite it saying they are watching a cutscene? The other day I literally tried six times to tell someone "no, I haven't done this before" when asked. And each time the PS4's UI would exit out of the on-screen keyboard without actually having the message I typed out showing. I did everything like you're suppose to, but it just wasn't letting me send a message. Hell, I'd barely managed to get it to let me say "hi" when we started the dungeon.
