I really doubt they would have put so much emphasis on the chocobos in that picture if they weren't being used for war. Tanaka even said a long time ago they had something better than just transportation planned for them.Quote:

You are making up stuff without any reason and then get disappointed when the patch hits. It wouldn't be too bad, but lots of people will start whining at Square Enix again when their made up things are not implemented.
Give it a few more hours. We will know more soon enough. I am looking forward to it, but already talking about riding or even training chocobos is a bit too much I think. I will be more than happy if I am proven wrong, just giving a heads up to avoid disappointment and more whines towards Square Enix and the dev team. -

For instance, there are probably things they could be adding(ex: auto-attack), but they need to lay the groundwork for the bigger changes first. -

am i the only one a bit tweaked that after all this time, the hinting, the teasing that we still know absolutely nothing about how the grand companies work and function even with the "Tell all" page up and the first vestiges of it primed to go live in game.
