Name in Credits - Registration Now Open

Thanks Gildrein. Im looking forward for this, my surname have accent (á) and i cant put it in the registration page :/

This would be greatly appreciated. My page timed out when I clicked submit and had to log back in. When I did, I got a screen saying my account was already registered with a name but I never got a confirmation email. Thinking the registration might've gotten messed up, I tried to contact SE support only to be told they can't help. orz

Thanks for the update! Please remember the space and the ability to capitalize not the first, but the second word in our last name! Also don't force capitalization at all, please :)

I don't know where to go to sign up for this. The first page of this topic with all the links included are no help, because when I click on the link for English-speaking countries, i am met with this:

Just go to the Lodestone and make sure that the region is correct for your account (top right there are 5 flags - JP, NA, EU, FR, GR). You have to use the same region your account is registered in. You can find a link to the correct sign up form in the topic for it.

Still didn't work, but I followed the link via lodestone and that one seemed to work out ok.

Yep and that the reason i put my real name vs my ingame. No one i know would go and see the credits just to see if i'm in it lol so i put my name so i can screenshot it :)

but going to be a long long wait to it get to L lol.

Keeping an eye for this too, as I have 2 Capital letters in the Last Name I wish to use.

Notice for the maintenance to allow special characters on legacy name is out.

We have instituted support for a variety of new characters, extended name length, and extended the registration deadline! :) Head on over to the Lodestone to update your name if you so desire!

Just to be clear, if we registered our name before the change and don't have any changes to make, we don't have to do anything at all for our name to still be included? Re-registering is only if we want to alter something?

I went ahead and re-registered to be safe. Got another confirmation mail.

Interesting. Using just the forename I can enter in FirstName CharacterName LastName and come in under the limit without it telling me nope.

It will make a weird spacing issue between the Forename and Surname that messes with your eyes if you are a bit ocd like I am. But I submitted "First [space] Charname [space] Last" all in the Forename and it sent a confirmation that it was accepted in the way I put it. Not sure if this was bending the rules a bit much doing this.

Really really wish there was a way to throw a ' ' or something around the character name (or make it a separate color vs first last names) to make it stand out a bit more. But it seems to be totally viable to throw in full name + character. This of course will not even remotely work if your name or character name combined goes over the limit.

Short answer. Yes you can at the moment.

I did my first and last name in 'Forename' and -Kirei Koneko- in the 'Surname' hopefully it works. or I get an email saying it needs to be changed before the deadline.

I used my character name first, then my real name second. So...

Actually, I think I'll decide against doing that too.

If for any reason my character's name changes down the road...that'll forever be stuck that way. I'll just leave my real name.

EDIT: ..I went onto the registration page and hit cancel when I made my mind...so you don't think that effected my registration from the first time right?
