10% of physical mit and 30s away from being a clone. That is what it is.
What if we make TBN a 10% mit less and 15s recast Bloodwhetting? can't it be called a clone? Ah the polishing turd dogma run so deep.
Did you like accidentally delete the rampart button off your DRK hotbar and then decide that the lack of rampart on your bars must mean that DRK never had rampart because I’m honestly concerned
Is it so hard to answer that you have to make another question instead?
Shall we make TBN a 10% mit less and 15s recast Bloodwhetting to see if it can be called a clone?
It's getting increasingly more nonsensical.
What's next? Are we going to compare Oblation with Vengeance to prove Oblation is a bad ability?
You... you didn't actually say anything about living dead by the way. You described what you wanted done with it. You just went on some childish tirade and used lots of caps.
Here are your words:
That makes an invuln, almost by definition, holmgang. It would just have a longer cooldown.
Why? both of them aren't even have the same recast time...
Oh wait, didn't we just compared ToB will TBN the other day? the nonsensical has already begun.
Then what do you want it to be? A holmgang clone? Thal's balls man actually finish your thoughts. You only said what you wanted taken away, not anything else. Even in your fanfiction dark knight thread (because square is never going to listen to fan remakes so I don't spend time reading them) you kept the heal. So which is it?
No. Why would I go digging through other people's threads for an answer you shouldve posted in THIS thread. Yeah you're a waste of time to talk to.
"I want this taken away from Living Dead but if you want to know what "I" want done with it here go read this unspecified thread made by someone else".
Comical.
Ah finally, someone who act like he can't be bothered to read but want to find fault in me no matter what.
"I wanted to bash this person but "I" can't be bothered to go read this referred thread that has the detail and explanation".
Comical.
What are you, 5? Even edited your post to be a smartass too by repeating something.
Are you? because those edited line came from what you have edited. But by all mean, carry on with your personal insult. It show what is to be expected from you.

Adios, Thank for a useless banter.
Yes, they were compared of which I specified that, whilst at a basic level you can treat them both like 'effective HP', there are other things to consider than could mean one provides a better benefit than the other. Ultimately, nothing to do with ToB and TBN, just the differences between shields and max HP increase.
You then came back saying that there was a 5% difference, completely missing the point that was being made in my posts.

TBN IS SOOOOOO AMAZING!!!!
It's Mesarthim who blocking me. Are you sure you're in a position to be saying all this?
Okay but in this time making memes you still haven’t explained what you actually want
Like you’ve said “oh dark mind is only considered good in high end content casuals don’t care about it” a flawed but not exactly untrue statement but then just haven’t explained what you would want in exchange
Like what tank skill currently has that wow factor in casual content for you that you want DRK’s defensive to imitate
Because for all of how much I now know about how much you don’t care about DRK’s niches in high end content I still have no idea what you DO want
Before that can we agree that we shouldn't be happy and contented with a clone ability?
No, because in an MMORPG you cannot avoid clone abilities. They're entirely normal. In fact in many regards they're a requirement. You're supposed to make the sprinkles on top be the unique thing, like, say, the regen on Holy Sheltron or the free attack on TBN. Which isn't balanced well, but that's the idea behind it at least.
Yeah I am. Again you can't handle the fact that you made an ass out of yourself simply because somebody hit you with facts. And you got all upset about it. And instead of facing problems head on you would rather block and run away from them.
Even if he did block you, I'm pretty sure you blocked him back. He blocked you because he's probably tired of your stupidity, while you blocked him back simply because you're running away.
Nobody is agreeing with anything till you explain what your “wow factor” equivalent is
Because until then it just looks like someone who doesn’t understand the advantage of having 2 ramparts where every other tank has one. Not every skill is glamorous, but that doesn’t mean it’s not powerful. Do you think the average person reading the tooltip for deployment tactics understands they are looking at the most powerful skill in the game?
A skill doesn’t have to be flashy to be meaningful
Thank for a good laugh but there is nobody in my block list ever.

I don’t know whether I’m more impressed by how much you seem to think completely dodging the question and offering nothing strengthens your argument or the fact that in such a short a sentence you managed to write something completely illegible
I would say I’d like to hear what you think is the strongest skill in the game but like my earlier wow factor comment I’m assuming I won’t get an answer or I’ll get some illegible deflection
I'm also impressed by how you can keep dodging the question by making another question instead. Like the one in the page 9 that you pretend to ignored. Before you try to goad me to do as you want. Why don't you go back and answer that first?
What, is it a clone of the always-famous "Light Mind" that is also 20% magic damage reduction, 10% physical? When it should be inverted? Or what is your particular problem here?
If you look at the "extra" CDs:
* WAR: +HP and +healing.
* PLD: Block everything.
* GNB: 10% DR and +parry.
* DRK: 10% DR, doubled against magic.
Seems... to work fine? It's a copy of the GNB ability that trades extra parries for better magic DR and a shorter CD, but in return gets a shorter duration, too. Or I guess it'd be more accurate to say GNB is as clone of the DRK ability, but same net result.
The problem is it is a a clone when it supposed to be unique and not weak.
How is it not a clone? Do you really need it to have 10% more physical damage reduction and 30s recast longer so you can finally call it a clone?
What if we make TBN a 10% mit less and 15s recast Bloodwhetting? It can't be called a clone?
I ignored that question because it literally has zero relevance to the point being made
Yes if TBN was bloodwhetting but with 10% less mitigation but a 15 second CD instead of 25 seconds I’d call it a clone. If it had that ON TOP OF also having TBN itself I’d call it powerful. Even if it didn’t have that the 15 second CD would give it niches that others have explained (but you ignored because those niches only exist in high end content)
This is what you are either refusing to see, won’t see or think if you ignore it for long enough it’ll go away
dark mind can be as close to a copy of rampart in your mind as you want. It doesn’t particularly matter but the simple fact it DRK has dark mind AND rampart. A “copy” (it’s not but I’m using your words) giving you literally 150% more uses of the same skill is powerful. It’s not flashy but it’s powerful.
Which returns to my question (for like the 15th time) if a skill being powerful is meaningless to you only if it’s “flashy” then what kind of skill is an example of what you consider flashy

There you are. What if we increase Dark Mind physical damage reduction by 10% and increase the recast time by 30s?
