Petition for Spanish Translation of Final Fantasy XIV

I'm honestly surprised there isn't a Spanish translation of FFXIV already. I'm 100% behind this. Great suggestion.

I think that was real when FFXI released, but nowadays I don't see Spanish people talking about it like something bad. Games like WoW and other games with subs are famous here now!
We face a lot of problems with the language, wich has been always a problem here :S

I don't ask for voices, I just ask that any player can read the story just <3 Most of us like the voices in Japanese or English, but we would like to be able to read without the need to use an addon

And let me tell you, we're making this petition in English, so we're proving to speak more languages than you do. It's not for our own sake, it's for the sake of potential players or the ones who are not enjoying the game at its fullest because of the language gap.

Como jugador de MMO, me entristece muchísimo no poder disfrutar en profundidad de la historia de este juego. Si en algo se caracteriza Square Enix y Final Fantasy, es en el ahínco de contar una buena historia. El castellano es uno de los idiomas más hablado del mundo, sería hermoso y beneficioso para la comunidad y el juego que nos brindasen la oportunidad tras tantos y tantos años de lucha, de disfrutarlo en nuestro idioma. Como alguien que es Español, podría disfrutar incluso de una traducción neutra, como podría ser en latino. La comunidad de discord es muy activa, hacen eventos cada poco tiempo, comparten canales de voz y texto, etc etc.

Hay miles de jugadores que están esperando a que su saga favorita, traduzca su mejor MMO a su idioma.

Yo mismo intenté ingresar hace 4 años, pero con la barrera del idioma, no pude... Cuando una persona juega Final Fantasy lo hace porque le divierte y por su increíble narrativa. Ojalá podamos hacerlo pronto, enterándonos de todo lo que tenéis por contar <3
Hace menos de un mes volví a intentar jugar y finalmente llegué al nivel 90 por mi mismo, jugando solo. Y no he podido hacer nada mejor en años que darle una oportunidad seria al juego. Me parece súper divertido, refrescante y de verdad creo que tiene una fórmula que mostrar a los fans de los MMO.

Todos los que estamos aquí amamos Final Fantasy, y nada nos haría más felices y aun más fieles si cabe, de poder disfrutarla al 100%, entendiendo lo que nos quieren transmitir con las emociones, historias, con las batallas, etc.

The Spanish language is the 2nd most spoken language in the world, they are practically losing money from that market as there is no official translation. Shame on SE that there is already a mod that makes translations by free. 3 of the 5 Twitch Streamers with the most followers of the world are from spain by the way.

Full support. Spanish-speaking Warriors of Light deserve to experience the game in their native language, without relying on community translation efforts.

Telling people to learn English isn't inherently Xenophobic because it can be an important life skill for people to learn English as a 2nd language who aren't native.
But doing so when so many Spanish-speaking natives play a game in English(they can comprehend English to varying degrees) and are asking for their own translation is kind of Xenophobic.

I am spanish and I have plenty of friends that wanted to play but didn't last or even start because it wasn't translated to spanish and they weren't very good at English or found it hard to enjoy because plenty of characters speak a hard to understand english.

I hope someone hear us!

This happens a lot, even with people that knows English very well but doesn't want to play a non-translated game :(

I know English and have English friends and so on, yet I want this game to be accessible for everyone, even Spanish/Latin players that struggle with English! :D
