Endwalker Collectors Edition - Figurine knee and leg broken off - poor quality

As someone who works for DHL I'm not shocked at all to hear about all these broken statues. I've seen atleast three of these come down the belt in the sealed box with a shipping label attached to the CE box itself no outer box or anything. If I see another I'll try and get pics but these boxes go through hell and I'd be pissed to receive something in these conditions

"Do we have an update on this issue? I demand a number to a supervisor or someone who is in charge of your warranty department get a hold of me or I will be getting a lawyer for this matter. It has been a month since this issue has been reported and I have not had a single consolation for my broken statue that I received with my CE other than being offered a replacement but no update on it. As a customer who spent almost $200 on an item I cant even look at I am beyond pissed off right now. I don't know what you and your team are investigating or who runs the merchandising department when all I need is a replacement statue which I told will be coming. If someone does not contact me by email or by phone (***) ***-**** I will be sure to take this matter into my own hands as a customer and will be getting others involved who are waiting for this same issue with no result."

Got an update...apparently they be shipping the statues soon so we shall see what happens

I haven't gotten a message back, though I did message them again asking for an update, but hopefully they will update me when they are ready to ship or at least have the product in hand.

"We apologize for the inconvenience this issue may have caused ad the delay in our response to your concern. We will be sending out a replacement figure shortly. We do apologize for the wait once again as we have received higher than normal contact volumes at this time which may result in minor shipment delays. We appreciate your patience once again regarding this matter"

Got a similar response today. Fair enough I guess. It's just unfortunate that it has taken nearly 2 months to rectify the problem that they created in the first place.

i asked them what the status of my replacement figure was since i haven’t heard anything from them for a month and this is the reply i got.

“ Due to Covid restrictions, there is a limit to how often we can ship replacements in person. We have received your information and will ship at the earliest opportunity. Once the replacement has been shipped, you will receive an email update with the shipper tracking number. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your continued patience and understanding.

If you have any questions, feel free to reply to this e-mail.”

I mean, I get why it might be taking this long, and I understand. But it's a shame that it has taken about 2 months to fix a mistake that they made to begin with, and there still isn't an end in sight. My statue better be immaculate when it gets here or they are going to have a very angry customer.

My replacement should be here tomorrow so ill let everyone know how it looks

Got an email (2 emails actually) today, 1 from the Warranty department and the other from Fed-Ex, both telling me my statue was on the way. The email from SE did state, however, that they are not liable for anything that happens from there to here. I guess that's fair. If they took the necessary precautions then no harm no foul. I'm cautiously optimistic that my statue will arrive unbroken. It is shipping through Fed Ex so it should be okay. DHL is what to watch out for.

It will come open up because they checked it but mine arrived with no damage

no offense at square, but they should probably just start producing more third-party figures (that masterline statue of terra from ffvi is absolutely gorgeous!) rather than trying to make their own. it's clearly not their forte

This is why you shouldn't pay for figurines unless you're willing to shell out extremely high cash for super high quality ones. I'm talking hundreds if not thousands of dollars. That looks like some $10 walmart figurine.

How much did people pay for this plastic crap?


I do not dig at the buyers choice to support the game with a Sec/Lim Edition purchase but knowing the industry this must have been over 100 bucks to buy and this is the quality they give for CEs these days

I miss the days of decent cardboxes with art books and music cds and other goodies and decent looking high detailed (albeit hard plastic) statues

Brings back memories of the SWTOR CE with the awesome Darth Malgus statue inside

My replacement arrived today. Was slightly nervous when I saw the box it had been shipped in had taken a slight beating on the bottom, but to my surprise it arrived unharmed. Hopefully this is the outcome for everyone who has had to deal with this. I was gonna display it on a shelf, but opted to just replace the broken one in my physical CE box and keep it in said box for safe keeping. lol

Got my replacement figure today. So they supposedly checked these to make sure they weren’t broken before sending them… well so much for that. Here’s a picture of my replacement figure. sigh.

If I were you I'd ask to speak to their manager or something. Or maybe even refile your ticket with the Warranty department. Out of curiosity too, who was yours shipped through? Fed Ex or DHL? I might take a second look at mine as well just to be sure. Looks like the sort of break I could have missed.

Edit: No breaks on my end, thankfully. It's unfortunate, however, that they could screw up the replacement as well.

I would call the warranty department with the phone number that was in email and let them know that it got broken enroute to you.

The replacement was shipped with Fedex. The shipping box and the figure’s box were in perfect condition and it was packaged extremely well. i don’t think it was damaged in transit. This has to be a problem with whoever the manufacturer for these figures is.

i messaged them again after that last email they sent me and they apologized and said that response was sent by mistake… they are going to send me another replacement and said once again that this is the last thing they can do. at least they are making an effort but i’m definitely going to be thinking twice before ordering another Square Enix figure or collectors edition in the future.

Well, on the plus side they are going to send you another. This must be quite a problem if they have so many extras on standby. Guess that also says at least a little bit about the quality, too. lol But yeah, same here. If a physical CE contains a statue I'm going to think, and think hard, before purchasing from them again.
