When i play i usually have the power of vote. Any one pulls this kind of griefieng in a run I’m in, they get the kick. It’s simple. I hope more learn to do the same

Eh, I think I'm done with this topic. End of the day, if I see someone watching the cut scenes, I'll wait for them. Shhh Kolaina it's the internet, the good guys can insult anyone that they want, because they're opposed to the bad guys !
And i'm pretty sure those players do claim to be nice and understanding ppl, while making things like that on the side and it's totally ok for them.
That's why i keep answering while i do know it's a lost cause, because no matter how many facts you put in front of them, they'll deny it or even find things to say that it's not a big deal.
If any of us did start to insult or call someone with an animal name, you could be sure they would jump on us in 5 min claiming things like "see that's the toxic part of the FF community that's what we say ! We dont need those in OUR wonderful community".
That's why i do love forums/internet, that's always the same thing years after years no matter what.

I read it. What he's complaining about, regarding DPS who zoomed forward past tanks to grab aggro or about Healers that say go go go but can't handle it and can't be bothered to use all their tools--it is by no means something that all in agreement about what to do about. Many people agreed that DPS that pulls aggro ahead of tanks are annoying, after all.

Regardless, telling anyone who plays this game for a long time something like that is totally uncalled for; unnecessarily nasty.

Highly subjective honestly. I don't care if DPS do that. I know a lot of people that feel the same way. Because if I'm tanking, I'm just going to agro it eventually anyway. And healers not knowing how to use their kit by my own perspective just means that I can either teach them something or they can teach me something. The amount of "mistakes" I've seen people make in this game only to find out that they were actually doing something better is ridiculous. If someone has been playing for 9 years gets annoyed by a dps being in front of them or a healer using rescue to move them to the next pack then imo they should re-evaluate. I welcome when I get players who are as onboard with what I generally want to do.

Well based off the moral grandstanding that started this thread along with the correlation that this person is prone to cognitive dissonance it's safe to say this person is probably a cutscene white knight that has at one point or another said something reportable to someone who pulled while people were still watching a cutscene.

Also, pull more.

If it only takes 10s for someone to view the cutscene then they are only missing 10s of the fight. I am not understanding what the problem is.

I don't pull while someone is in a cutscene, if someone else pulls then I'll jump in. If someone pulls while I'm in a cutscene, more power to them if they can make it without me.

This thread is a dumpster fire and just shows how bored some people are with their lives.

Feel free to continue to defend someone who is literally stating on an open forum that they are proud of griefing other players and do it for unhealthy emotional validation I guess.

My question, while meant to be scathing, was still an honest one. It takes a very twisted person to spend that long doing something and then continue to behave this way.

If I'm healing or tanking a dungeon, and someone pulls the last boss while someone's in a cutscene, I generally don't engage. 95% of the time, the 3rd person also won't engage, and we'll just wait for the person who pulled to die, or for the cutscene to end before running in.

If they want to pull when the entire group isn't ready, then they can go ahead and fight that boss all on their own. I'll wait until my little sprout friend is done his story beats. Then we can pull as a group.

I just want to tell this joke.

Healer " Pull more pull harder... pull faster!!!"
Tank " But there's a wall here..."
Healer " I don't care! You're the tank.. FIGURE IT OUT! Blast it down!!! Pull MORE!!"

xD I love you all. And no. I don't baby pull. I tend to spin dash til I hit a wall. But that's only because I like making the healers do the happy face :D

I want to say you must be new here, but with your post count I can see that's not true. What the tank is doing is griefing and I'm fairly certain he can be reported for purposely letting people die.

However, I agree with you it's uncalled for and unnecessarily nasty. That's just how online forums tend to be I'm afraid. You might be looking for a mature discussion with people respecting others opinions. However, you will find very little of that in any online forum. People are condescending, insulting, and constantly looking for "gotcha" moments to prove their opinion is right. This forum is more heavily moderated than others, so people skim a very thin line with insulting others here.

It's my opinion people should wait for the sprout to watch the cutscene, some other people might think it's rude to make someone wait. No one here is right or wrong, we all just have different viewpoints, many people can't accept that however and think their opinion is the spoken gospel.

If the alliance raid is over 2 years old, I am absolutely pulling the second I get there. The only raid boss I have slight reservations about pulling ahead in is False Idol, but something like 9S or the Compound? You bet I'm not waiting an extra second for those.

There are many new players to this game, something that is incredibly old and boring to me, someone who has been playing since 2.0 Beta testing, I will choose to wait for someone else to finish a cutscene. I do not command other players to wait for a cutscene, I won't say anything in dungeon. I will pull the boss off the player who didn't wait and join them. I am not here to force anyone here to wait for a new player.

I am simply asking people here to treat new players with a small amount of kindness.

this part of the post because the posts where they belittle the other side of the argument and agree with a poster that called them untrained dogs, all while trying to gaslight them by saying that they are the ones misunderstanding the post when it black on white, even in their own quoted post, called only one side dogs lmao
it's also pretty odd that most of the discussion is gone yet their posts aren't deleted, even though they were an active participant in it
since their FC friend already made a post insulting everyone that didn't agree with them, it wouldn't surprise me if they and others in there mass reported every post not by them
