Krile needs to go.
Uh no.
Lowkey creepy post.
And don’t mistake your dislike for characters as the characters are poorly written.
Krile is kind of a weird one. I kinda like her but also meh, she was always only there to solve situations and nothing else, more a tool than an actual character, and the WoL sure never bonded with her. But then we also don't see her so much for her to be annoying.
Yeah, I quite like Krile too and there's so much they could do with her given what she's gone through but she really is just popped in here and then when needed. If we do lose some of the original scions and they want to replace them I think she'd be a great choice. Because she's been around so long and had so much development, she wouldn't feel like a butt pull like a brand new character might. Plus she could be interesting combat wise given the powers she may have ended up with unbeknownst to her.
I actually hated the Scions up until Shadowbringers. Now I think they're pretty badass, and happy to party with them via the Trust system.
Estinien is scion too when do we elavate Gaius to a scions state too. he make interest addiction to scion camp we need another tanks in the scion roast. please Yoshi P don't killed anymore scions they awesome sure the be frustate but don't you think Frodo was frustating to some reader of the Lord of the Ring or samwise not mention bormerna the brave give me ring frodo so i can my people.
can we save Gaius adopted daughter too
i hope we won't be sent 100 year into future just be are luck we get bunch friend and SE send WOL 100 year into the future.
aleast the WOL has friend that she tease and complain about to other friends about. lol
Estinien isn't a Scion.
I've actually really grown to like almost all of them as characters. I just wish they'd stop being so unbelievably stupid every time it's convenient for the plot. There's been more than one quest where I really wanted all of them to shut up and stop to use the brains they apparently forgot back at the Waking Sands before setting out on whatever adventure it is at the time...
let suppose for second you no long existe in scion lives i wonder how empty they lives would feel without the WoL to take them on adventures or help save all the world or first with how miseable they would feel. now i bet they many thing the scion find frustating about silence WoL thing they wish she or he did more or less over sometime anger them sometime thing they problem want her or him stop doing or do more of.
they problem have hashtag
#KickWoL going some where
realize the scion are bunch of students their going be very braining if you think about and the WoL is adventurer. in Trailer Y'shodi sound very anger at WoL for some reason i doubt there much WoL can do about her existe
The only one I care about among the Scions, is Y'shtola. And they cannot (or will not) kill their poster-child for FFXIV. The same way (I swear) they tried to kill Shanttoto multiple times in FFXI, and she's basically the face of XI in other games where collaborations pop up with XI appearances.
I just wish they are just not so flat as a character.
I say "they", but what I really mean is Alphinaud. He is such a flat and boring, boring, boring, boring, character. Too "pure" and goody-goody 2 shoes, like I don't have a problem with kind, caring characters but he is just too much, too white, too pure, too nice, too idealistic, like he doesn't have a single bad bone in him. Compared to the others he's just really really really boring.
The only time they really tried to kill Shantotto in FFXI was during that one cash grab add-on, A Shantotto Ascension, but in the end even that ended up being more comedy than anything else. I still don't get why she made it into other game material, maybe due to JP love for her? Not that I hate her, but like, not a major character very much at all. They sure have made it seem that way though.
I think they will kill Y'shtola when they are ready to kill her. Not any time soon, but maybe sometime in 6.0. It's long overdue. As for the reasoning that they can't kill off a character in one game, because they do stuff in another, well, they kill off the major villains that they feature in everything they've featured Y'shtola in so... I mean, they could. It wouldn't have any impact on those other games if she winds up dead within XIV.
Major villains don't count. They're villains in the FF series for a reason. Which hero did they kill off in a major game and brought into another game outside of dissidia (where nothing is real in that game anyways and not canon)? Otherwise, FFXIV is non existent as well and might as well not be according to that logic (with the amount of villains from every major ff game possible lol)
Guys, don't worry. Eventually the WoD is going to become a Forgiven sin eater and kill off every single one of our beloved allies. By the way, we should totally get a dream sequence when we go to sleep at the inn, where we kill all our Scion friends. That way we can kill 'em as much as we want and not have to change the story.
It's almost like having an ensemble cast of characters with different viewpoints. ideals and life experience levels is a good thing. Creates this thing called character and group dynamics.
I am so glad the paste swillers in the forums don't write the story for this game.
I love the Scions who are my traveling companions during the epic even more present from the Trust system.
I experienced a lot of emotion in their presence with each expansion and even more in Shadowbringer.
But I want to kill some useless character and the dead antagonists but who come back all the way, even if there is an explanation.
it saves money for the modeling team.
Ps: I want to kill Ryne and her gothic friend on the other hand, it's stupid power 1000. (see Eden quest).
"Let's go drink tea with cookies together and be best friends in the world, yeay!" ...
HOW DARE YOU USE KH AS AN EXAMPLE. LMAO I HATE YOU SO MUCH. I knew someone was gonna say that. But she's not the main hero, cloud is. Just like Dagger might be part of the main cast, however, it's Zidane's character as the main for IX, and she's more of the side arc for the main plot. But still, I get what you're saying when using that. Rip FF VII remake. XD
The one thing I preferred about FFXI over XIV is that each expansion brought you someone new to adventure with in the form of the Mission Girls. None of them really got a chance to overstay their welcome the way the Scions have, and when you saw them again later in a side story it was like reuniting with an old friend. At this point I'd like to go at least a couple of expansions before seeing any of the Scions again.
The only one I even have any affection for at this point is Alisaie, and I can totally understand her not being other people's cup of tea. I won't sit here and excoriate them one by one, but they all just rub me the wrong way personality wise. I grow weary of them stealing scenes and constantly waffling between genius/utter idiocy and useless/overpowered. Also the relationship between the WoL and the organization bothers me. What really is the WoL's role with them? Full fledged member? Independent contractor? Am I working for them or are they helping me? What's the pecking order here?
This! Honestly, if there's any scion I want to be truly dead tho, it's gonna be Y'shtola (that second fake out made me hate her) and Alphinaud (I just don't like him). The rest can live, but I don't want to see any of them too much (except for Tataru) in the next expansion. I kinda want the focus to be on the other scions (Hoary, Riol, etc) before going back to the archons.
While the scions are far from the most well written cast in a final fantasy, I'm not sure why you feel the need to uhh.... 'eliminate' them. Kinda goes against the whole WOL thing. And also... why? Just because they don't do a lot of the fighting doesn't mean you need to go all off with their heads.
~~Good Luck.
If I can't kill an Ascian for the sole purpose of taking their clothes for glamour, then you can't murder the Scions.
I love the Scions imho the best part of FFXIV story, having an actual crew you go on adventure with and know you by name. Instead of oh hero go kill this world threatening boss and after killing them they are like wow look how I took the final blow on this boss, thank you for looking up to me adventurer. Now please go kill some hogs outside the city gate they are a real nuiscance.
Alisae, the redditor and Tataru should die immediately. I do not like them. I want Gaius van Baelsar in my team.
#teamgaiusvanbaelsar
Cheers
A clean sweep would be nice, maybe leave the twins since they seem to be part of "our" story.
Sometimes its bothers me that the WoL is treated like they are just the Scions/Alliances "primal", kill the more unsavory types and "temper" the rest to the Scions/Alliances side.
Old thread is old, but i 'would' like to kill Graha Tia and Tataru.
We can start with G'raha. Have him die by slipping in a banana peel then falling into lava as a comedic jingle plays. And he never comes back.
This was some quality edgelording.
You're thinking about how much you want to **** Y'shtola, aren't you?
Here’s to hoping at least Y’shtola, Alf, and Urianger get like permanently mind controlled and you gotta put em down.
Thancred’s just Squall with less personality, but he can live. I don’t particularly like Gra’ha but I don’t get the hate either, especially from folks that think Y’sh is the bees knees (It’s probably the horny factor).
And Tataru never leaves the base anymore so she can stay there.
