I got some math done on this weapon and when I compare it to an Anima, it's pretty insane how the Devs released these like this. I weighed out a full i275 Crit/SS BLM Anima weapon.Quote:

Thats a 53.5 point advantage over an i275 from just a measly "5 ilvls". For BLM that equals 4.5 weapon damage.
If HW is anything to go by, 1st dungeon(Lv51) gave i120. 2nd(Lv53) gave i130. 3rd(Lv55) gave i136. And BiS weapons would still be better than those. 4th dungeon(Lv57) gave only i142. 5th dungeon(Lv59) gave i148. So unless there's a 4.5 weapon damage boost total within those 13 ilvls, your i280s will last you to 70. IF Stormblood is similar to HW. And no... you likely won't be able to buy a better weapon from a vendor because they only sell NQ : )

I think the ilv280 weapons are fine, they're pretty far from easy to obtain, rng emergency mission, mildly difficult fight, rng its a weapon you can use and rng roll vs a ton of people, so...yeah... Its simply just incentive, should make Daidem last at least till Bloodstorm, I mean cant see many people running diadem after a while if it only gave the sunbrust gear. Though really wish there was more stuff for spoils, another mount, a few more minions, ventures, the rarer dyes maybe, heck Id take food mats that are only from scrips, especially if they finally had hq ones... XD
