Since we are talking about Primal Mounts... This guy makes me cry all day everyday..

That's what I was thinking, but is that still even possible? I'm not good at Maths but 200 in one day doesn't seem feasible.
EDIT: Reached daily limit so replying here. Apparently I only get seven or eight posts a day...
Could be EX Primal or Turn 5 weapon I guess. But can't help being a bit suspicious. Every horse mount, as well as doing 200 PLD and WAR instances in the space of 1 and 2 days respectively. Seems a little fishy to me.
It's clear you missed the entire point of what I said. That is the part that is insane. You want zero discussion on anything in the game, with SE having full rights to do whatever they want. I see you enjoyed 1.0, I hate to break to you but that is in the past. In this FFXIV, the players concerns/suggestions actually matter.
So you didn't "turn around" anything. You just failed to understand what I said.
So if isn't fun, why do you support the MMO grind? Because doing an instance 200 times is EXACTLY a MMO grind.
I think you are confused about what you even want.
Let me help you out. Mounts shouldn't be based on RNG. The end. Make it 100 kills or something like that. You want the grind, then support the actual grind.
I'm not sure if you've grasped the understanding of the argument here. We're not comparing other games here, and we're not solely complaining about the drop rate itself. Had you perhaps read the arguments in favour of the petition, you'd know that. It's about comparing other acquisition methods in the game to one another and applying them to this particular instance. It is also not about the drop rate, but rather the drop rate mixed in with having to fight with seven others for that particular mount. And in the instance you lose, you finally see another one with a new party of seven and lose again in an endless struggle to never obtain the mount unless everyone passes, obtains it themselves, or you are the lucky one in the bunch. It's about rewarding those with dedication rather than those who aren't even interested in it but roll for the heck of it. Nowhere stated is it that we wish for it to be 'easier' to obtain, but rather more logical to obtain. A proposition for the mount was ~500 wins or so in that particular primal (or 200, doesn't matter), which is no easy task given it's difficult to even find that many people willing to run that many times. As I've stated previously...there is no real argument against this proposition. The only 'arguments' are comparing this game to other games, which is irrelevant - and by calling anyone for this petition spoiled "children" asking for hand-outs; which is nullified by the counter-argument for making it just as difficult but less reliant on others.
I'm just not sure why people are resorting to name calling, personal profiling, or flat-out getting aggressive when this is just a discussion for a game. There is no reason for any of that here.
Why didn't they just make the mount a secondary chest similar to the Crystal Tower blade thingamagoo?
You are either crazy, or very very stupid. Either way, you've repeatedly shown you have no grasp of reality and the concept of empathy completely eludes you. My mind hurts trying to understand the total lack of rationale needed to think like you, and I hope the developers shy away from appeasing your kind. The world definitely does not need any more people like you.
That is the prime example of a faulty system. Do you honestly not see anything wrong with this? Are you really that dense?
Seriously, the amount of.. whatever this is on this thread is staggering. All I hear is "I have my mount and I dun want anyone else to have one, waaaaaaaaaaaa" and people providing the most ridiculous attempts at an argument I've seen in a very very long time.
Wait a minute... Can't you roll on the mount AGAIN after using it (Assuming you happened to be very very very lucky to see it twice and somehow won lot twice), attempt to roll on it, (if) and win it just to be a dick? Or does the system detects your character having this mount and make you unable to roll on the mount?
I am pretty sure you can roll again. There is no system in place that checks the mounts you have. For example, you can purchase more than 1 of the beastmen mounts.
So, add another bullet point to the already staggering amount of reasons this current system is terrible.
I like how you jump to personal attacks in my mind/intelligence.
No. Just because someone runs 1000 times and someone runs 10 and that person wins the Mount, doesnt mean the system is flawed. It means it's working properly, giving everyone who participated in the event (dead, alive amazing or otherwise) an equal chance to win. And everyone is crying because "well I've ran it more times that that person, so I should get it before them, and since I'm not they should change it so I don't have to compete to get it because I think I'm more deserving." is what it's basically coming down to.
The only thing that should be changed is being able to roll on it after you obtain it. Leave the rest alone
Keep it the way it is. It gives everyone a chance. There's. No need at adding more ways to obtain it(aka doing a run 50 times) just because a few people cry about newer people beating them to an item.
Life isn't fair, people win and people lose, and no, you don't get a little star sticker just for trying. Suck it up and try again. It's Not hard.
And, as much as I shouldn't reply to the personal attack and the "world doesn't need more of me" thing.
I think it does. More people who aren't baybed and handed it a silver platter. More people who can suck it up a bit. As I personally think it's those people who are bringing /going to bring ruin to many things.
Do you not understand how probability works? If you did, then you would understand the system is not flawed. I understand that people may not like the system, which is understandable; but, people not liking the system doesn't make it flawed by default.
Being in disagreement is not equal to, "I have my primal mount and I don't want you to have yours." I don't have one. If you would have taken 30 seconds to check my lodestone, which I have kindly linked here, you would realize that.
Not unless you are a dick (or have a dick player) who already has the mount and reroll again and attempt to win the mount (Again) just to piss off the other 7 (or less; some people may not care about the mount) who actually wanted the mount and doesn't own one. This is the only thing I find flawed in the system. Yeah sure, you can report him/her and let the GM reroll his account but what then? One of the 7 people would've gotten it and left them a great day. Yeah sure, he got his justice but they are still going to be pissed off after running it over x number of times; only for the mount to be obtained by no one.
