Hmm, I've seen a few women on the corner of my street that make money in real life doing that too XD

Sounds about right for a small, and what I thought it would be. I think a medium will be 2 million.
Which one of you broke mugs is gonna be the first to sign up for a sub-prime eorzean mortgage? Hope you've been working on your moogle credit rating.
I wonder if it'll be based on server just like FC housing.

Siliconera posted a translation of the original famitsu article, but they were wrong.
The article has been going doing the rounds. Please upvote for visibility or the QQ when personal housing finally launches will be unbearable.
Straight to the chase.
吉田:snip(個人向けの家の)価格は85万ギルくらいではきびしそう。フリーカンパニーが所有する家ほどは高くしないつもり。
Yoshida: You're not buying a house with only 850k gil. But they will not be as expensive as FC housing.
Despite the way the article was written, it was originally some light banter between Yoshida and assistant director Takai Hiroshi. Hiroshi mentioned that after gifting most of his gil to his FC, he's left with about 850k gil. He wonders if it's enough to get his own shack.
Yoshida replied, "uh, I don't think so".
Would be great if it's that cheap.
Who's sticking to 850k? They never started at 850k.
I really dislike this counterpoint towards the cost of something. It's ridiculous to be so narrow-minded about it. Utilizing this argument, why should anything RL related be in the game? Why do we need to have anything be identical to RL? Why can't cloth be the most defensive armor type? Magic... it can do literally anything.
Chances are, you're thinking that's just stupid. It doesn't make any sense, it's not how things work, etc. Well why do those concepts, which are true IRL, have to exist and make sense in the game when the concept of cost justification shouldn't?
