Apparently ADS' enrage pulses on T2 come more frequently. It's 33% faster, according to reddit, but no source to confirm/deny this

Enrage method is extremely lazy. I will personally never do it, nor invite anyone to my Coil groups
that want to do it.
To each his own, I'm not mad that people do it. Just kinda defeats the purpose of the entire Turn
when you can just spam heal and not do any of the challenging mechanics.
Just seems really boring to me.
Any halfwit could blow through T2 rot in the first place. There is one and only one thing keeping players out of that method: party comp. Stack 3+ ranged DPS, trololo through. When Echo comes, everyone will just disable rot (Sanitary -> Attack -> Quarantine) and use Echo to power through def buffs and Firestream screwups.
clearly you missed the other post & it explain how SO WRONG YOU ARE
Halfwits cant do it, the majority of players in this game cant. I teach & teach & teach, explain, Nope. i've seen bricks that can play better!
The statement you quoted is whats right in the commutity, the Dev's really need to Look at how things work. This game has so much wrong from a MMO & gaming perspective in respect to balance. & yet people like you say Shut up & live with it.. OK heres a broken heart it has a big hole in it, but it still pumps it'll cost you $15 a month Shut up & live with it. You wouldnt take it would you?
See people like you are whats wrong with mmo commutitys
I'm not surprised if they "fixed" it.. name one other fight in the game that has an enrage that isn't gg if you don't beat the fight prior to enrage activating.
I suppose that's true. I guess it's more upsetting and puzzling when you get groups that won't even or haven't even tried it once that will ONLY enrage
it. I mean, if you legit try and you just cannot do it then ok, you've got a leg to stand on in doing the enrage.
If you just do enrage all the time cuz you just don't care, well.. that's another story lol. This is just IMO. People preach "fun" but then find ways to do
things in the easiest, most boring ways. That's not my definition of fun. That's all I'm saying. =P
It was clearly stated that coil wasn't intended for those players. Coil was intended for a very coordinated group ready to deal with more complex mechanics and put in hours of progression runs if necessary. It's not meant for a brand new pick-up group formed in wineport that'll implode after one wipe -- those kinds of players get to do the first part of coil in 2.2.
Lol guess i'll be seeing less of "T2 Enraged mode" Party Finders lolololol. I have also picked up a few pugs on T2 groups that only knows how to do Enraged mode hahahah they going to be so mad
lol i cant confirm yet cuz im already locked out for the week. but if they did change then its a welcome change, t2 was laughably easy using the enrage method. oh well i guess the loot pinata had to run out eventually lol
True I suppose I've never seen full "enrage" (i.e wipe) in Turn 4 though, doesn't it ramp up progressively once the pulses start?
What was silly about T2 enrage though is people who were capable of clearing it the right way, but doing it the lazy way.. it takes something like 5 or 6 minutes to clear it the correct way.. so you'd get to ADS then sit on your hands for several minutes to do enrage :|
Agreed, but even some of the better players who are end gamers cant do it, so thats 50/50 correct.
Over time when opened up & with a good group. Sure they should be able to, might need to swap there jobs, which throws out Yoshi p's vision for this mmo & the So called Balance they they had for it. <-- point proven want me to continue?
Also turn 5 was designed not to be beaten. Yoshi words! altho much of what he says is lies...Wrong... Changes.. Up to you on that 1 i'll stick with "Changes" because im sure he'll eventually add the stuff that was supposed to be there at realease before patch 3.0....... Yet Blue garter beat it so they never changed the difficulty & dont plan to. (other than the twister adjustment) & now a select few can groups can beat it. Now that alone backs up what i say fully in respect to balance, Dev lack of paying attenchion, testing & adjusting. Ignorance it Bliss People Ignorance is Bliss
t4 enrage doesn't wipe you automatically, which is what you asked
saying if they did change the enrage would be a nice courtesy

Not me, but someone posted this in Reddit. Apparently it might still be viable:

Remember when people said this game was going to be easy before 2.0... where did they go?
On a side note, my static will be running 1-4 tonight so we will see how it goes.
In the time it takes people to complain about it on here, you seriously could have learned the normal method.
I got time to whine though~ My group doesn't run coil until tomorrow. We just haven't learned the normal method because we started our group only a week or two ago and there's been no reason to learn the normal method until now. If enrage really isn't viable anymore, then we'll learn how to do t2 properly.
I don't mind this buff because I personally hate the "enrage" strat. However, you would think SE would include this in their patch notes if this is indeed true.
I've heard very few people complain about this ninja buff to T2, mostly people are upset about the ninja part.
And then 2/3 of the people here are pitching tents in excitement because players will have to play the way they do now.
I don't really care all that much either way, but some mention of this in the patch notes would have been nice.
Multiple Japanese blogs on lodestone confirm that they definitely ninja buffed turn 2 and multiple people are angry that it was not mentioned in the patch notes. (And ah yes Dark Devices.....dejavu)
If you want to check do a blog search for the keyword ロット回し (which translates to passing the rot). I've already done coil this week but I guess I'll have to learn how to do it next week. First time I tried T2 with rot method we failed miserably. :(
Like you said, I'm not actually angry about the buff itself. Anyone with half a brain would've seen this coming ages ago, despite SE's repeated denials of doing anything to T2. I'm more annoyed by the fact that they lied to us. They told us that they weren't going to touch t2 at all but now they've gone back on their word. How am I supposed to trust them, if they can't be honest with their player base?
Personally I don't mind the change, but as more people said; it would be nice to see a mention in the notes about it.
Or as it stands now, an official response.
Yep. It's the fact that they would do this and not include a note about it. I'll learn to adapt but I feel like these sorts of changes should at least be announced (even if it's just a footnote) to the playerbase.
Repeated denials? Lying? What is this, a congressional hearing? They've only ever commented on the strategy once and that was over a month ago, saying they "currently" had no plans to change anything. God forbid people change their minds about something, sheesh.
I don't believe specifics of changed enemy behaviors has ever been called out in patch notes. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm a paying customer to this game and I expect to be treated in a truthful manner when I play this game. I'm not paying so that they can say one thing today and change their minds without telling me tomorrow. If that's the way you think a business should be run, then good for you. But as a paying customer, I want to be informed of things that could potentially alter my experience in the game. That is why they release patch notes. To keep their user base informed. Why should they only put some things on it but leave out other things? If you're going to put out patch notes, put down everything that was changed.
me and my fc did it on Monday still the same
