the gear is to low lv and wont even be able to use it. The tools are also to low. When everyone has all there classes to 50 at this point in time where are the new things why keep them at lv13 ? Why cant it be item lv 55? or 60? So with that said im sure some of you are going to do it and some are not. I'm looking to do some of it just to pass time from not doing WP or AK all the time. But hay what im a to say sine the so call GM or makers of this game dont care one bit. All they see is $$$$$$$$$$
I have no space for additional items because of all of the unique gear and the gathering and crafting items, the armoire needs to be able to store all unique and untradeable gear/items pieces, vanity or not i'm out of extra space.
I also can't use these low lvl gear anymore there needs to be an option for lvl 50+ versions regardless of future vanity options.
Well at least if they make some new jobs in the future, we'll have some special lvl 13 armor we can use for a brief time before the dungeon sets of Satasha/toto-rak/copperbell >.>.

Did someone point out Snow's hats are missing?
Edit: I should prolly post source http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/pr/blog/000517.html
This is ridiculous SE, let us put the new items into the armoire!
They don't actively update it it looks like because they have higher priority - Though in 1.0 you could actually store quite a bit more that you seemingly can't now, you just had to have it at 100% durability.
Also, reading back on this I love how people said this wouldn't be a zerg or poo-poo'd the ones who said it would be :)
Honestly? Because I have never been needing more than one retainer for the stuff I have. It's only recently when my wife decided she wanted to have two separate retainers for separate uses that I found out that you can have more than one. So I "presumed" that you can get one in each town.
Retainers don't mean much to me because, frankly put, I purge what I don't need because I can either farm and craft it or just buy it again. May not be the best way to save money but really, it keeps me from having issues with storage.
If you don't need it, get rid of it. Purging policies come into play with me. I've always been someone who's kept things in order and very limited.
I mean if we can't put them in the armoire, and they are unsure if we will have a seperate storage option, have them make something like maybe an event chest by the armoire, or maybe a "wardrobe closet for our useless event gears until the release vanity slots" we have been asking for the storage of seasonal event items since the re-release of the game.
SE please please update the armoire soon, we couldn't stored the Halloween event item away in there either and it's taking up space among other things in our retainer. Either let us stored them there or let us hire more retainers which you can store more items but they cant sell items on market.
Either that or let us do a quest to store items somewhere else in the city or allow us to make a chest or a special storage golem to store more items. I know it not a high priority but why even make these items for event if they are just going to take up space. I know we can just throw them away but I would like to keep them to remember my time in FF14.

Doesn't anyone care about the wig/hat that seems to be missing from the event? If the hat/wig you unlock are some BS for the barber isn't that gonna be some shit?
How come this is still acceptable to SE, even after doing XI like this for every event? You guys introduced events with items that ate up space, and later would get around an update or three if we were lucky to make them storable with the event storage NPCs.
Inventory is one of the most vocal complaints in both games, so I just don't understand how SE STILL has the hindsight to make these things that's designed as storage fodder from the getgo.. Something you can actually store without eating space.
I'm not a very high level does that mean I'm limited to the rewards I get? Like can I get 2 rewards for doing the chapter 1 twice? I'm confused on that part. I really want Lightnings Outfit set but guess I'm not going to be able to unlock all of it :(
If I understand correctly, this quest series will return in February with the release of the game.
My $.02, if it's limited edition, allow it to be stored in the armoire. Period. Like any collector, I got all of the weapons available and now I find out that I've lost all those storage spots? Effin' ridiculous.
Oh I see thanks for telling me~ as long as it is returning then I am happy since I have the patience to wait. :D
The official response (as quoted above) makes very unhappy. Storage is a major problem and needs to be addressed. All of our classes/jobs are tied to the same character, meaning we are all going to accumulate numerous sets of gear/weapons on that character. Event items from just the short amount of time this version of the game has been out already take up numerous slots out of our already limited storage. Are we expected to discard our event items? We can't even discard some of them (most swimsuits).
half a$$$ed event.
Just make a dressing room cabinet in the inn room for all these very obviously costume only items, set all items from events like this as storable and call it a day.
It's a Final Fantasy XIII event so all the weapons are lvl13, I can't believe so many people haven't made that connection. You really want them to give useful endgame weapons and gear as event items? lol As for different level gear as rewards??? How would that make sense or even be useful? So if you want to wear the full set, you will have to be lvl45, but your hands will be lvl13, another piece in the lvl20s, another in the 30s and the last at lvl45? How could that possibly be useful? At least if they are all the same level, they are useful at that level, instead of a gear set that nobody should ever wear due to drastic level differences between each piece of gear. Plus once vanity slots come out, you can look however you want, hence making this set visually usable in endgame.
Now that all four chapters are available, we hope many of you have had fun adventuring with Lightning and getting the new armors and weapons!
We've gathered your feedback on the event, and along with the thoughts you guys had on other previous events like our All Saints' Wake and Moonfire Faire events, we've sent these off to the development team to discuss and take into account when creating new scenarios for the future.
We have just a couple of reminders/clarifications on the current event based on your questions:
For those who are unable to tackle the level 45 challenge at Chapter 4 because their character doesn't have a class at that level, we encourage you to do your best to reach this threshold before the December 9th deadline.
If you weren't able to make it however, keep in mind the event will run again in February of the new year, giving you another opportunity to face these challenges together with Lightning.
Also even if many of your fellow adventurers have finished it already, we've also specifically balanced each fight to ensure it can be cleared with fewer people than typical FATE battles.
As for making the event items store-able in the Armoire within the Inn, this is still currently under review.
I would like to use this gear for vanity Square or even just be able to put it along with many other pieces in my armoire. Why is this vanity gear here if we cannot do anything other than derp in town with it.
Need more inventory space. Event items too strong.
OR LET US STORE IT IN THE ARMOIRE!
Any thoughts yet on gender locked items, when we can use a Fantasia?
If you got the Lightning outfit for example, can we later obtain the snow outfit if we use (or are offered) Fantasias again before February?
Or in the future can we have an exchange system? It's horribly frustrating when a one-time opportunity passes and you can't obtain both in a game that allows you to swap.
I'd suggest doing it like the summer event in future by offering both genders to avoid this.
The event was ok I guess. But next time if you do it in installments again make each chapter last longer. The ending was excellent as well.
I also wish many more can go into my armoire, but if they choose no that's ok with me as long as my bags can get bigger or a third retainer becomes available.
Maybe for next time, don't be so dependent of FATEs. We get it, you like the FATE system. This event would have been SO MUCH more awesome if it was in instances. Team up with Lightning to fight bosses and stuff. I couldn't enjoy the FATEs because there were so many people, Lightning's model didn't show up half the time.
You can have a few FATEs, but please don't make your entire event dependent on them.
I agree, the FATEs idea is not a good idea for things like this.
Reason 1) Too many people playing/camping it makes the FATEs last 30 seconds, no fun.
Reason 2) Again so many people that usually she doesn't even appear or spawn before the FATE is finished.
Reason 3) No fun.
Fix-- Make it instanced. It can be like Hydra, or it can be like a primal battle through the duty finder, but it should have been like a Guildhest, a group of 4 or 8 running and fighting with her. That is what will be fun in the future for events.
The next 2 that are coming, the Dragon Quest one and Shantoo are going to be like this and nothing more than a Zerg fest. You need to understand that is how FATEs work, they are zerg'd by hundrends of people so the FATE does not get played as intended and is not fun
If you complete Phase 4, it seems you can't get packages to buy the weapon anymore. This makes me regret finishing the story. Would SE change it next time for us weapon completionist?
Hi Hvinire,
Please pass along my vote as well for:
* Please allow us to store all Event Items into the Armoire.
The Armoire system essentially is just a flag (not the actual item), restoring / creating a copy of that Item when we Retrieve it. Given that, it's not a real inventory system or expanding the inventory per player.
Extrapolate a couple years down the line, there's just going to be SO many Event Items, and people will just start throwing them away, or not even doing the event, because it's more of an annoyance to lose inventory slots than to keep some silly Event trinket that's worthless in real battle.
Thanks.
i find this event BS as a new player i can only get a weapon and gloves cant get rest of armor cuz im not level 50....
