Lol wtf? Just get relic.
Buy GC weapon and do relic quest. Yes GC weapon is enough for Titan HM also.

This probability doesn't take into account the percentage of players for each class and the chance of running into another player with the same class. There's much more paladins than warriors so paladins will generally have a harder time getting their sword because 60% of the time, they will be competing against another paladin.
Against a single target being the key word. You don't always get single targets though, and for times like that, you will want the better weapon of choice. The damage isn't really the kep piece it is the enmity increase we look for.
To OP, while it sucks for you, RNG is RNG. I got boots, ring and weapon in AK in a single run. I have seen more ifrits blades drop than any other weapon. You can keep grinding, like I intend to do myself for awhile. Or you can move on. Simple as that.
TLDR RNG is RNG.
Eh. Not really. Flash is sufficient if the dps attack the correct target.
Flash, do a few rotations, flash. Rinse and repeat. You don't need to switch targets. That's only needed when dps attack different targets.
I'm probably wrong but when we tried to go for a weapon, we figured it changed on an hourly basis.
We tested by clearing a fight twice in the same hour. We got the same weapon.
Then we waited for the next hour, then cleared the primal, we got a different weapon.
I mean it could be a coincidence, but it's something to consider.
This is the damage increase from GC to Ifrit using http://valk.dancing-mad.com/?page_id=260 to calculate.

And yes, putting your 30 points into VIT is best.
Please join us here as we've already had a dev comment and would like to keep feedback regarding primal drops in a single place:

Thanks! :D
Whether the stats warrant it or not, for me in past cases of RNG trolling at around Run #40-50 it becomes Me VS RNG. I will run it until I get it.
Good job. Now just move on. You don't need your ifrit wep. My buddy also had horrible luck gettin his ifrit wep for his pally but then he said eff it did garuda and.it dropped first time. As far as progressing end game...u don't need the ifrit blade. Just run ak and cm. Get darklight gear. Throw in garuda nd get gardua wep. Don't get stuck on one thing or you will never progress. Goodluck
Yea all the nonsense about needing full DL and relic to do AK and garbage like that is a joke. Bads relying on gear to carry them is what it is. You don't need ifrit weapon to move on..just like I didn't need anything close to full DL + Relic for the joke of a dungeon AK. Nothing at all hard about it. I could DPS, Tank or heal it in whites. Baddies just use overgearing as a crutch cause they're terrified that something might present a challenge. Skip Ifrit and go do something else. GL.
Not really. There are plenty of instances in which you need gear no matter how good are you. Skill does not overcome every formula. Doesn't happen in real life, nor does it happen in games.
Some bad players use gear as a crutch, but for good players it give them an even greater edge/advantage. It's the saying that hard work overcomes talent, except when a talented person works hard. Then the person without any talent but works hard gets surpassed.
In the OP's instance I can only assume that he's trying to supplement his skill with gear not necessarily overcome his flaws with it. But then again I've never seen him play and he could be super scrubby. Or maybe he doesn't wanna be a gimped scrub that gets carried through stuff by other people.
Using shit gear is a reflection upon the player. It means you don't want to reach the pinnacle of your potential by trying to squeeze out every advantage you can for whatever reason (time constraints, laziness, etc). I'm sure there are great olympic sprinters out there that can be very fast barefoot, but why do they wear cleats? To get a competitive edge to be the very best, that no one ever was...(gotta catch em all).
That being said, some content can be cleared without certain things, like AK. But from what's been said you can't really clear titan hm if everyone just sported AF.
What you said. But having people demand over gearing content to do said content is ridiculous. And you can't pretend that you haven't seen demands or comments regarding this. Obviously you can't challenge Titan HM in AF, but it's obvious you do not need DL and relic to do AK either.
I understand that. But, I feel like theres so much hate in this thread about the OP being stupid for trying to make sure he's properly equipped. Granted he spent more time than most of us would, but it's his use of time and he's doing what many people don't/refuse to do which is properly gear up.
Whether we like it or not, tanks are usually held to higher standards gear wise. As long as other classes have X HP or X Dps, the rest of their gear doesn't come under as much scrutiny. But for tanks dmg mitigation and hp is based on armor, and enmity producing skills are based on our weapons. Especially in speed runs in which flash is used pretty extensively due to how speed runs are ran. That was all I was trying to point out.
The range system really should not be a necessary roadblock to progression, even if it is passable, your choice is to either get lucky off one of the primals, or save money for an i70 Green. The best way this could be resolved would just be through adding an additional weapon upgrade, say ilvl 65 Green which requires tomes, this allows for multiple play styles of boss hunting to CM farm to all be viable ways of obtaining gear.
I did full relic quest including Titan on my bard using Amdapor Keep rings with 2 AF parts (Gloves and Boots) and GC Weapon. Lets not mention I never died during titan because I know the mechanics.
Amdapor Keep is easy. You can do it wearing lvl 46ish white. I actually run it in lvl 46+ whites just to spirit bind.
