AFK PC's eating up spots on server

That's a terrible idea.

I'm not sure how much of a problem AFK people are at this point, but a timer is definitely needed. During the beta there were a few times where I left the game up and stepped away from my computer long enough for it to go into sleep mode. When I turned it back on a few hours later, the game was still running with my character standing in the same spot he was when I went afk. That's just crazy imo...

It took me almost an entire day to log in after being kicked off on Saturday. Still logged out Saturday and Sunday night before going to bed.

Since I have been unable to login to the servers since late Saturday night for only a few hours before maintenance. And unable to login since, when I do make it on the servers I most likely will not log back out.

personally im more than happy to log out and give my slot to someone whos been staring at the login screen for the past few days i would much rather they get in and enjoy the game then want to stick around than just get fed up and cancel their preorder or something

i do understand those who may have had an extremely difficult time getting on in the first place not wanting to log out until they know theyre going to be able to get right back on once they get back from work or wherever but for me ive been lucky enough to have only really been affected by the planned downtime anything in between ive been able to play and enjoy the game

so as i type this and about to go to sleep whoever was next in line your turn is here enjoy :)

Say what you want, I will be logged in 100% of the time until the server issues are fixed. It's your choice to log out and if you can't get back in afterwards that is between SE and you. It really sucks that it has gotten to this point but thems the breaks.

That's rich.
If certain people are going to behave like selfish children then they should be treated as such. I hope they add a afk-kick timer and I hope they add it soon.

Well besides just bashing on the AFK a$$hats, what the hell happened to log in queue? It probably would not be so infuriating if we had that back. Knowing you have a turn coming at some point helps. Would make it easier to log out when you were not playing anymore too instead of going afk. Having to continuously click to try to get in is just dumb. WTF happened to the queue? I don't care if I am 5000th in line as long as I know I am coming up according to when I originally tried to log in. Don't make it this race to see who can click the fastest being the winner of the login game. We all paid, we all deserve equal opportunity to play, even if they have screwed up server population control.
