PS3 + Vita + FFXIV

biggest problem with the vita its too damn small, i rather play on the big wii-u controller for stuff like that.
my character is a female but im a 6 foot man so my hands are alittle bigger than a 5 year old. im pretty sure most people play there mmo's at home anyways.

Well I can see this is turning into a Wii-U thread... lets just stop that now. Cause as of right now FFXIV isn’t coming to Wii-U. Understandable people will bring up Wii-U when PS3/Vita talks happen. But lets keep this on track. The Vita could bring new UI elements to the PS3 itself couldn't. Could use the screen on vita as a drag and drop for new housing , for gear switching as we seen in many of the vids of ARR with mouse. This isn’t the best idea but , could have the vita hold some action bars. Then again it might be hard to hold ps3 controller + vita while doing stuff. As for any type of mobile stuff yes need ATT plan in US for that. But lets just say you are at home watching football or playing a dif game. You could use Vita to do certain things like look up items and buy stuff w/o the need to be logged in FFXIV on the ps3

As to the range of the WIIU gamepad its confirmed to be at lease 8 meters or 24 feet, so you can go next room without a problem.

At the moment you cant do anything with FFXIV while not logged in anyway. Like checking market or maybe trading items...
So the value of the "everywhere online" feature is not as strong as the whole WIIU gamepad concept

If you don't own the 3G model you can access the net via wi-fi connection, which can be found (almost) anywhere; You don't even need a PS3 to do that. I don't think you understand its value, but I'm not going to derail this thread any further.
