To go off the point that it's not very convenient system, no it's not lol. It's interesting in what it does to the value of them, and making them even more restricted would boost it further (rather than letting people stock them). But it indeed adds an inconvenience.
Wonder if they could let players store 1 per type of map, and then maybe add a system to that where higher tier maps can be used to upgrade lower tier maps in chance for good items / portal. That way someone who perhaps doesn't have loads of time might just collect maps as they're playing and keep fusing it into lower tier variants and at the end of the week have a very high chance to get good stuff. Maybe to prevent it messing up PF, where everyone would be like "resplendent map or kick", it might be you can use any tier higher or equal to party map and upgrade it to a solo map (making the solo maps higher chance to be worth while). Meanwhile the party maps get away with some of their inconvenience by the nature that you should be in a group with each person having a map, so more maps to have done before needing to go back to town.
