Neither were the Heavens Ward attire which are just white versions of preexisting gear when it was 1st released.

This is a very silly take.
By all numerical accounts and reports, XIV has been growing rapidly — in terms of interest and subscribers — over the last few expansions. However, the rate of content added to the game has not kept up with the monetary growth of the game. So this idea that, if the Mog Station was cut out, that more in-game content would be cut is ludicrous. The profits from the Mog Station do not go back into XIV; it goes back to Square-Enix, who then invests into non-XIV enterprises.
The Mog Station is not going away, that's true enough, but let's drop this narrative that it means more investment or content in the game. Square-Enix's track record is to keep the game profitable, but only to funnel those profits into other enterprises.
Delita's armor is already in the game, though the wrong color. It's the tank armor at Ridorana.
A dyable version would be nice though
Delita, like Ramza, had multiple outfits in the game.... but it is strange that the lighthouse made his outfit but in the wrong colors.
For me, though, I prefer we don't request outfits from other games added to MogStation since if we do, that means those options have been taken off the table as potential rewards for other quests or events. Like how we got the Tidus and Yuna outfits for fanfest. Also we could be requesting that some of these things be added to be redeemable for achievement points rather than cash. We previously got other title outfits as subscription gifts, but now that those are gone, making them redeemable in the new system isn't an outrageous request.
Doesn't the male set drop ingame already? You can get it for free o.o
EDIT: Oh, other people said it already.
but they, in general atleast arent making NEW stuff for mogstation. It's all existing outfits and mounts etc that are already in the game to begin with, the only difference is that they're making it available to be used by players that pay stupid sums.
If mogstation didn't exist, we would of still gotten yshtola's and kriles outfits eventually, for example, because they're already in the game and there was demand for it. Using the mogstation's existence for why things on it are good is not a good justification.
maybe I am just old but i would rather spend 2 hours of my time farming to get a cash shop item vs 40 hours+ in game for the same thing ....... bring on the cash shop
