We needed another thread about this... why?
Did I say it was logical? I never even remotely mentioned whether it is or isn't because it's irrelevant. No one here is obligated to read a thread they don't want to, nor are you obligated to participate in any thread that comes up of the same subject that any poster here has the privilege to create.
Obligation and privilege, eh?
Funny thing about that is it can be turned right back against you. No one is obligated to create an unnecessary thread, and we all have the privilege to dismiss it as much as we like.
Also, the whole "forum guidelines" thing kinda says don't do that.
Please use the search function placed at the top of the forum to see if your questions have already been answered. If there happens to be a thread with similar topics, please divert your questions to that particular thread.
It also says not to derail threads, but we're way past that, and considering all discussion has been neatly contained in other large threads, this one effectively has no reason to exist.
Do you really want to argue about unnecessary clutter on the forums? How often in the threads you are pointing out to that are the most relevant go off-topic from the subject header? The thing is though, when you respond in such a thread with something along the lines, "There are already multiple threads that address this topic." you bump it. This along with those who really want their voice to be heard is a big contributor to all the clutter. Pointing it out is counter-productive.
If you truly feel that there is one thread that should be responded to, then you will serve your interests the best by keeping your responses within said thread. I know from experience that starting a thread of the same/zero interest quickly dies if no one contributes to it. If you really feel that it has no place, then don't give it one.
This isn't a valid defense for bad design choices.Quote:
If people weren't such jerks during runs then this wouldnt have happend.
No argument there, but how are you dismissing it by replying in it?
Forum guidelines advise against going off topic, or starting multiple threads on the same subject, but you also don't see anyone getting banned for it either. All I am saying is don't add fuel to the fire, otherwise all you're doing us contributing to the same thing you oppose.
isn't it obvious? time, budget and human resource, if they want to make it into solo instance then they have to rewrite alot of ARR code for it to work properly, but make cutscene unskipable still feel like an afterthrough, it won't fix anything, it's just scare ppl away from MSQ roulette even more
