Watching the Bahamut summon gave me an idea...

I do 3.2k raid dps 9k Ruin crit and up to 26k Deathflare crit - i know what dmg we CAN reach if the environment is right. Tell me your numbers with your piety build Im really looking foward them :3

and no the dps wont fall that much it doesnt matter how often and in how many threads you will repeat your whining opinion - btw i said a casual smn, not top tier smn, read more carefully before you try to bash someone next time.

Anyway this thread is about glam and summons, one of the less smn threads where nobody cares about nerfs or numbers until you stepped in so get your fucking false information & whining and get outta here.

I already know you can't reach that kind of damage you're claiming without massive Echo and Bard Song, so that's not going to work on me either.

But for the record in normal level i270 gear at level 60... you'll do about 2800 to 3000 Ruin 3 OUTSIDE of Trance... Crit I've seen as high as 5400 without Bard Song and Echo and generally.... in the 4700 range...

In Mr Happys Video we are looking at a Summoner AT level 70 and in i290 gear... which is probably way better than what you have... doing 2900-3100 damage Ruin 3s IN Dreadwyrm Trance with the bonus 10% damage (Probably the new Ruination bonus on it too)... and ONLY critting for 3900 damage.

So he can BARELY pull off the same damage as a 60th level current Summoner in i270 gear... AT level 70 and in i290 (possibly i280)

And you had no idea apparently... but that's how big of a nerf that is.... apparently.... nor did Mr Happy... so he's obviously not a very good judge of the situation.

Yeah Summoners will be at the bottom of the pile with regards to the Caster classes at this point.

SMN isn't a saiyan lol. If the SMN's abilities worked like that of a BLM and WHM that'd make sense, BLMs can use surrounding aether. Lol those numbers proof that u dont know a shit about engame dmg. i do 3.2k raid dps and thats not even much worlds best come up with nearly 5k on Faust Z. and my numbers are without echo cause where should i get echo from? o.O your Ruin dmg on the other hand seems kinda low... must be the lack in your crit multiplyer if i remember right your crit was around 900-1000? Yet alone this fact shows that your crit dmg is lower than average smns crit dmg - if you would be that wise you would know the higher your crit stat the higher their crit multiplyer and end dmg. 7k+ Ruin crit is nothing special.

And for the "barely same amount" you are also wrong even if the ruin dmg is slightly lower than avg. Demi Bahamut casts Shockwave for every Skill u perform in trance on top - with high ss, the given shorter ogcd and rudas con adjustment which now effects every spell the value in over all dmg he adds to your own skilldmg plus 2x Ahk Morn will outdamage any burst dmg of current smns. It's what i said several times your mistake is that all your arguments are based on the raw pot numbers - and u still dont get it.

Wow... you really are that delusional aren't you...

The Video you're looking at WAS with the Bahamut pet out... and you're only going to see that ONCE every 3 minutes or so... its buried under 3 stacks of Aetherflow at 60 seconds each...

The rest of the time you're going to be doing a hell of a lot less damage than you do now... as Mr Happy's video just showed us...

I know you're getting nervous at this point because people have started to figure out you don't play a Summoner anymore at this point but you're seriously grasping for straws here.

But guess what Neela... anyone who does play a Summoner at the current level 60 and in i270 gear... is going to know damn well that this guy in the Video (a level 70 Summoner... and in i290 gear) can't even achieve the same damage level as a Summoner 10 levels lower with worse gear. So you're not fooling anyone here.

Overcoming a specific block at a certain point in time given an immediate threat we could not train our way around.

They can improve their access into that power, their control.

Not sure how overcoming an obstacle will give SMN more internal aether to work with. We won't know for certain until the quest, but i'm going with the drawing from Bahamut's essence. It makes the most sense given SMNs limitation, and how hard they've pushed this ''invoker'' stuff. Even SMNs lb doesn't have anything to do with summoning, but very much to do with the lore they recreated for the job. They need to be consistent with this lore. Baha should fall in with the rest of the puzzle.

It not being permanent like the rest of the egis, and only being able to be used after DWT twice to me reinforces the notion that SMN is using the power drawn from Bahamut's essence. My prediction is that during the timed period he is using the excess energy to fuel the summon, but cannot maintain the manifestation. It would explain why he needs to DWT twice just to summon it.
