    Watching the Bahamut summon gave me an idea...

    I think the Bahamut summon in 4.0 gave me an idea for Summoner...

    I think this will be a bit crazy but hear me out..

    I think the Bahamut gauge should change according to the primal you want to summon and when it you build it up you expend it to summon one of three demi primals that will only do the enkindle attack before disappearing.

    Focus Bahamut - Change summon bar to trance bar and build non-aspected aethertrail guage. When guage is full, ability changes to summon bahamut
    Summon Bahamut - Summon Bahamut and he casts Casts Akh Morn on enemies for huge potency AoE damage and then disappears.

    Focus Shiva - Change summon bar to ice trance bar and build ice aethertrail guage. When guage is full, ability changes to summon Shiva
    Summon Shiva - Summons Shiva to battle where she performs Heavenly Strike which does heavy single target damage before she disappears.

    Focus Ramuh - Change summon bar to lightning trance bar and buil lightning aethertrail guage. When guage is full, ability changes to summon Ramuh
    Summon Ramuh - Summons Ramuh to battle and he performs Judgement bolt which does lower potency AoE damage and applies a stun to enemies.

    I guess the idea behind this is the have the different summons have differing utility according to a situation.

    Like for example if you know an add phase is coming in battle to build up gauge then unlock Ramuh to stun the mobs and save the tank some health or use Bahamut to burn them up quick.

    Using Shiva in single target situations where you just want heavy damage.

    You can also change focus in the middle of building up one of the three but you will incur a small penalty to what you've build in the gauge.

    I think the idea stems from the FF series summoner and I feel would add a little more wow factor without destroying balance.

    Anyway its just a thought ^^;;
