Who knows, perhaps in the future we'll need to liberate Gridania or some other nation from Ala Mhigo, based on its history...

Again, I am hoping we see a nuanced portrayal of these things and not some silly "rah rah lets kick Garlean butt" attempt to cater to the lowest common denominator.

Ultimately, people have already articulated their reasons for being enthusiastic about the expansion but also have some valid concerns about it. There is no overall air of negativity insofar as it is concerned. It is better to voice concerns early on than to suppress them to keep some delusional sense of hype up.

The removal of cast timers on MCH alone got me hyped for SB. The fact that there's so much more to come with it is like having a truck full of cool shit randomly given to me.

My point was rather: Why make a new thread when we HAVE threads regarding the whole "Looking forward to Stromblood"-theme? I get that people are excited and want to share that but just as we dont need 10 crying about whm-threads, we can do with one excitment thread... but sure, make more thread /shrug

I'm excited for the expansion as a whole of course, but I think the thing I'm most excited for are the MCH changes. Don't get me wrong, I love MCH as is, and it's been my main since day one of early access for HW. Even so, the changes definitely seem like an improvement in every regard, and give it a much more solid rotation as a whole by cutting down on the cooldowns of Reload and Wildfire, as well as boosting over all damage so that your Wildfire bursts aren't your only real DPS. Those burst will still be important, but with the changes you'll be getting them off more often, and you won't be taking as significant of a DPS loss when a boss hits an invincibility phase a second before Wildfire detonates. I'm also a fan of the fact that there will be both a higher skill floor and skill ceiling due to the way the heat gauge works, as well as that the class will be a lot faster paced than before. It's probably the first time I've had my favorite class in a game get major changes and I end up excited for them rather than upset by them.....

I am not sure if the Au ra is from Doma. But if that is the case, then my Au ra will finally be home..that is what I am looking forward to.
