What powerful? The reason I did relic for my SCH is because I freakin' need the ACCURACY!
Also the book from A12S stats is ugly af.
See, I would have agreed with you before during ARR as the weapons we built were supposed to be legendaries their own right. But since doing the Anima I don't mind so much now, and would be great if they can just keep the story of the weapon and the Anima rolling. I like the idea of the Anima being the weapon that could always be by your side, even if not always as strong as weapons of primals or ancients. It could be a really deep well for lore and character development. I'd trade that for being the most powerful.
One is hard.
One is time consuming.
It's a pretty fair system.
Sorry, I disagree. That is all.
You do know this is a casual game.
No, this is a dumb idea.
Reasons, the expansion comes out on June 21st with early access four to five days prior. By June 21st, there's gonna be the same song and dance from when Heavensward was released. People crying about how crafted gear that will given out through quest was better than their relic/savage weapon. Even before you hit level cap. So at this point what does it matter...
The point is to give struggling players a slight edge. Maybe they are close to an A11S clear but needed that extra damage from their Anima. As someone who cleared Savage well before 3.5, I couldn't care less if an easier path is made for inexperienced players. Good for them. Maybe next raid tier, they'll have learned enough to not need their relic, and that's only a good thing.
