I bet they are just going to reduce cooldowns greatly and TP/MP cost so the game can feel more action combat because everyone is jumping on the Action Combat Hype now. :p

Could be a nice visual improvement imo. Could just have the individual hits show the base damage then last hit can tally the actual damage - the hits already landed. would work too since most combos end with the big hit.
I would rather they got away from the "Tank and Heals must DPS" meta, even more than they did recently.
Boost tank enmity mods and nerf damage to balance when in tank stance. This makes them capable of acting as a DPS when in an OT role + DPS stance, but utterly incapable of holding hate outside of their tank stance.
Remove the accuracy requirements. They are nothing but a hindrance. Healers have few enough free GCD. If they're not dps-ing when they can, that's a player problem.
You're assuming all hits would be critical. If they separated each hit, every hit is now liable to be critical or not unless it has a specific effect to it. IE: Ninja Kassatsu> Doton= all DoTs will be critical damage. Otherwise, each tick is at the mercy of RNG. Dream Within A Dream> each hit is at the mercy of RNG to be critical.

I think cooldowns are going to get a big reduction to make combat more fluid
I also think this would make combat feel less sluggish with all the extra hits.
Problem is they'd need to revamp the way damage is displayed. Sometimes when I use Royal Authority I won't see the damage due to an auto attack being displayed.
Also..should Dots get the same treatment?
