Why not put housing plots on mog station?

You're just repeating what's in my posts. Yes apartments will be 512 to a block, but it will be easy to implement multiple 'blocks' considering that they are implemented along the same lines as a FC house. 1 block per ward in all housing wards would end the housing shortage overnight. Also I think that these apartments will be maisonettes, not simply chambers because they are trying to give players something equivalent to an individual house, the smallest of which has two floors (including basement).

I would love for them to put houses on the Mog Station. I really want a house but it is impossible to find a open small plot to purchase. I would buy one from the Mog Station day 1 if it was a option.

I would too assuming there was unlimited plots/wards available. If you wanted to purchase a house with gil, but land was still limited and someone with real cash beat you to it, that's feel pretty crappy. Other than that, I'm all for it.

as i already have a house if had to pay real money for it.. not a chance lol only things that should remain in the mogstation is cheap glamours n past event items ;/

Terrible idea. Housing needs to be fixed but making it a Cash-Shop item is not the answer.

This isn't a FTP game, your sub should cover everything apart from cosmetic items. Housing is advertised as a feature of the game, everyone should have access to it without having to pay extra.

I'm not sure where you're getting the two storey thing from. 'Mansions' in Japan are apartment blocks. Flats. Even with 512 person mansions, they'll still be limited. What happens when they fill? The problem starts all over again.

Private instances that aren't loaded the entire time are the solution, just like your Inn room. So replace the Inn room with a private instanced room. Preferably one that doesn't blackmail you into resubbing for every 45 days, too.

Selling Plots on MogStation? Sure, could work. They just have to remove the Airship system and gardening, so it doesn't get " kinda pay to win/get gil facility". Then it would be glamour like all the other things on MogStation.

That would fix nothing.
Don't forget, the poblem is not people selling houses to other people, but people paying other people for demolishing their house.
With plots in the mog shop people will still pay other people with gil to get a free plot they can then buy in the mog shop.

512 * 16 (normal and extended wards) * 4 (the 4 cities) = 32768 rooms if they only put 1 aprtment in each ward
