Your comment is what's worthless. You say the game is fun and so therefore I am wrong. Then you tell me to stop projecting my opinion and presenting it as fact but HELLO, isn't that exactly what you are doing? Besides, I'm not presenting my opinion as fact. My opinion is my opinion. It kind of goes without saying. I didn't realize I had to add "this is only my opinion" at the beginning of each sentence. Besides, it seems to be an opinion a lot of other players share.

Also, if you just logged into the game and you're finding it so much fun, why are you on the forums trying to pick a fight with me? Nah, the game's not fun, that's why you're here. Trolling people on the forums is what people do when they're waiting for fates, PF/DF groups, or idling in Idyllshire. Good luck w/ your fun, BRAH! LOL

This is the WRONG genre for impatient people IMO. Got an attention span of 30 seconds? Great! Go play Call of Duty then :/

As far as the game feeling like work. I would argue the main campaign your doing mainly for fun. The endgame your doing for fun and gear. The gear is what gives you a reason to repeat the content more than once. If that feels like a job to you and your not having fun, well then technically you have already beaten the main part of the game and no1 really forcing you to do the extra stuff.

Congratulations on detecting sarcasm. Achievement unlocked! As for a GM coming down on me, yeah good luck with that since a) I'm not really selling my house anyway (obviously) b) there is still no official word that house selling is a rule violation and c) I don't really care.

My ADD is why I got fallout 4, the 30 Second Shoot outs of CoD combined with the RPG elements of Elder Scrolls. But the vast majority of my free time is spent in FF14, so I care a little more about it's future than a single player game.

Games where you find the fun are much better than games where the fun is directed to you. It's very important for players to be able to find their own fun.

This is why this game has housing, and weddings, and gold saucer, and all this other great stuff. They give you the tools, you just need to go and find what you enjoy, and it's fantastic.

Though...I'm not sure what timers have to do with 'finding fun', that's a bit of a misleading title tbh.

Well good luck to you trying to take on a GM if they happens cause SE will most likely back them up instead of you. People were making joke PFs saying they were selling houses when in fact they weren't or even had a house and were still getting warnings on their account.

I admit I prefer the weekly limits, saves me from coming back after 1 week to people who grinded 24/7 over the time saying "Your not geared enough, go work on that". Which please don't try to defend it, you know very well people would have grinded Esos and been fully maxed within 2 days for some.

So if you don't eat in the game your character should die and be deleted then, yeah? This is a video game, not real life. There is a limit to how many houses are available at a time. It is in the best interest of the majority to demolish plots that aren't used. And I would bet with the new rule in place you would enter your house at least once in a 45 day time frame. If asking you to do something so trivial as clicking a couple buttons ONE TIME within FOURTY-FIVE DAYS is asking too much? I can only assume you live with your parents and aren't responsible for anything at all. That is truly the single laziest mentality I've probably ever seen in my life.

Remove weekly caps....If I want to run dungeons until my eyes bleed and get all the tomes I can, then why not? We have 13 DoW/DoM jobs and some of us are interested in gearing more than just one job at a time. There's no need to restrict us from being able to properly gear more than one job at a time other than to gate progression in an attempt to make sure we remain subbed for as long as possible. I feel that if the game truly is worthy of a long term sub, gating would be unnecessary as we would have other reasons to want to play then just simply wanting to make sure we do our dailies, and get our weekly drops. I also feel that the one drop a week Void Ark restriction should be removed, but I know that's coming very soon so I won't complain too much about that.

I do, however, fear that even 5 years from now the treadmill will still be in place and nothing will have changed. Oh well. Here's to hoping that community outcries will be enough to one day change the boring repetitive system so we can see some new, more innovative, ways to acquire gear progression.

I love the game and will continue to remain subbed, I'm just getting tired of having so many limits imposed on us for no good reason.
