Here is the difference in stats when swapping helmets as you propose. The top one is the guide's BiS list, the bottom is yours.

With an accuracy cap for a4s of around 650 to 655, i personally do not see the swap in helms to be worth the 17 crit raiting

Accuracy cap for A4S is around 650, right, but I don't care about overcap accuracy if I'm maxing my main second stat, Crit.
Crit is the best second stat by far, it brings crit chance and crit damage, Skill Speed is pretty weak since our casts are 1.5...You are gonna need a lot of Skill Speed to get a real diference, but every 44 point of Critical Hit Damage bring 1% Chance and 1% Damage, I mean, crit has 2 effects, then 17 points of critical hit rate is equal to +0.4% chance and +0.4% crit damage and this is better than 58 Skill Speed by far and for sure.

I don't care if my accuracy is overcaped if I am maxing Crit.

I do not currently have any videos (I need a better CPU to be able to record at high quality without framerate loss) but our rotation guru Aiurily has some on their youtube page. The 3.07 2 ammo opener can be seen here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFm5WWJQEso

If Aiurily wants/gives permission I can add the videos to the rotation section until I can afford a new CPU.

and no one has stated that you must follow this BiS. If you value the 17 crit and wasted 41 accuracy over the skill speed, then that's all personal preference. Until we have people decked out in both sets running parsers and giving data fueled feedback, its all going to be going off raw stat values and what gives us the most bang for our buck. I am going to pour over the old thread to find where Xero gave us a rough update to the SkS weight and make sure to get it updated asap (probably after my raid tonight)

Thank you and me either, put my Warrior's progression through Savage on hold to level MCH for the ranked WD coming; should be a blast. Rank 48 Maelstrong here, and merited, the MCH PvP ability tool kit rocks. the learning curve is steep but the skill ceiling seems unlimited when you can mix an match the way the PvE abilities synergize. Great class all around.

Pretty much this. It boils down to theoretical BIS vs practical BIS. On paper the SS build may have a higher stat weight, but in practice its probably not as strong as one that favors crit/det. Even if you have that much more SS, how many more GCD's will you get than the person who doesn't, probably not more than 1 or 2, and that is in a straight fight with no down time. But one thing i will say is, DET affects skill damage and turret damage so that is definitely a stat worth looking at with crit.

so what's everyone highest dmg on WF? Also what's the basic rotation on adds if there's like 1 or 2?

Also where is MCN in terms of burst dpS I know that after burst they drop a lot. I've seen parse video of MCN bursting at 2.3k+.

Depends on the fight and who you got on your team. My static is PLD/DRK/WHM/SCH/DRG/MCH/SMN/BLM. My WF damage can hit from 7,500 minimum to almost 10k depending on RNG on most fights if I have all of my buffs up. 6500-9000 without raging strikes/hypercharge on the second WF.

Then you got A2S where with 5 vulnerability debuff on a walker, 11k Wildfire is the minimum.

DRG's Disembowel helps your damage all the way while NIN's Trick Attack helps everyone for 10s.

I amend my own opener slightly to avoid this Hot Shot/GR situation. Weaponskills after Wildfire detonates notated as a/b/c/d, since you won't have ammo for those and will have to choose them accordingly as needed.

For me, that position of Gauss Round is the only position in the typical opener that avoids it coming back off cooldown at an awkward timing.

It's not possible to fire it the second time any earlier (since the first use of it is already as early as possible). And if you put it any later in the sequence, it will come back off cooldown at an unfavourable timing as you can see.

The ogcd slot after d is risky because it's extremely close to Hot Shot's buff dropping off, if you lag a little you run the risk of the buff falling off just as you fire it. The ogcd slot after the Hot Shot refresh is likewise unfavourable for the reasons you mentioned. So there's basically a 2-3 second chunk of time over there I want to avoid firing Gauss Round in.

You could also go the other way to avoid it, by rearranging your ogcds during the opener so you fire Gauss Round later, so that by the time it's available again that Hot Shot refresh period has already passed - but that's more troublesome if you ask me. If you swap its position with Quick Reload or Ricochet it will come up again during those 2 unfavourable GCDs. You would have to move it at least 3 GCDs down which is more than I'm comfortable with. Since Gauss Round has a short cooldown (20s), I prefer to use it earlier and hope I can an extra use of it later, since you are starting and cycling through its cooldown earlier.

Side note: you don't want Quick Reload coming back on the d and Hot#2 GCDs either for obvious reasons, since ideally you 1. want to use it on cooldown, but 2. don't want to spend ammo on Hot Shot and Lead Shot.
