They usually end up setting limits on how fast you can get gear (weekly drops/weekly limit on tomes), that's enough to keep me subscribed for 3-ish months. Extending that artificial limit to make it fit within 5 months will slow down progress significantly, and also give players less content for their money. Why would you want that? Everyone has their own way they like to play, if you can't do everything in the 3 months for all your classes you decide to level, well you have plenty of content to keep you playing, don't force other players to play the same way as you (well not you, the original poster I quoted).
no rush to get it done, what are all these people on top of the world going to do once they complete it within release week? what does anyone do once they're fully geared < A>
best to take it at your own pace, alexander isnt crawling back into that lake anytime soon
Fun fact: That was with -all- of them being at the top of their game. Again, ONE PERSON can not push the DPS needed to clear a check. There are a TON of players right now that are STILL learning their roles. Don't compare the hardcore blitzers to those who are casually taking their time.
Seriously, your comparison is like saying that you should be ashamed if you have an i130 DRG in a T13 party pre-patch and not clearing just because everyone else was i123. @_@ Stop being rediculous.
Which eventually you are driving at the same thing I'm driving at
"git gud or get rekt"
Seriously unless your party is full of DRK/AST/MCH then fine, new jobs. But if you are talking about a party with at least IL160 pieces from dungeons and a IL170 weapon on old jobs and still failed Bismarck then yes, the only remedy is to get better.
Seriously, you're not understanding what I'm saying.
Just because YOU are i179, does not mean it's going to be a "Garunteed win on DPS." There are 3 other DPS and 2 tanks who contribute damage to the fight. If other people are lacking, that can cause you to be unable to clear.
The point we're both making is different. You want them to "Getgud", but it might just be that they haven't found others who are "Gud" yet. This is coming from an i180 Warrior who can literally out-DPS most other DPS in Ravana-EX... To me, it's easy. But I have partners BY MY SIDE who are good. I have people I can rely on.
All I hear is ilvl does not equal skill. Lol I'm sorry I had to.
While I understand watching cutscenes, personally I don't care if people do as I wait anyways, I do not understand why people wouldn't watch a guide. Watching a cutscene does little to inconvenience someone, but dying mid fight and causing a wipe, inconveniences everyone. It wastes their time and time in a subscription based MMO is important. Just my 2 cents.
Well, kinda made my day that! xD... But, indeed as some others have pointed out, your ilevel is nothing if the party su***.
I'm kind of glad I'm now in a static, we cleared Bismark so easily.. And Ravana also after just two days trying. Hive weapons are cool and I hope will be of utility for alexander.
PS: Nice job with the token system in the primals! I love it!
So? why do i care if they feel there times wasted some of us like to go in blind at first so we learn on our own i pay just like them. So no one really gets there way both party's need to be happy if i want to watch a you tube guide i will but i will not be told too do so and since this is a game ppl are going to wipe that's life.
