I have to join the group that believes that the music is kinda off, mostly due to the fact that it isn't a Final Fantasy song. Of course you do have the final word on this (and the trailer is quite well done), but I do dare suggest to use a FFXIV song or, failing that, another FF song.

And here are some personal choices from the FFXIV soundtrack, but it really depends on what type of theme you want for the trailer

I really like the general feel to it; it has a great sense of what it's like to be involved in XIV - much more-so than the official releases. It's a bit short, as such is the nature of teaser trailers, but usually teasers will make use of a drawn out intro with text over black and a slower intro to the song.

Does that song in particular have a more aesthetic, mellow part that can be used to lead into it?

I can give suggestions for text and such, if necessary. All in all, though - I'd love to help spread this when the time comes. Great effort.
