I'm saying be damn considerate, it's something half of you don't understand. Consideration for a point where you once were. Second, if you've been farming that long for 1 book, you could just buy the EX book materials, it looks better anyway. People must be rich enough stealing all the gear off newer players for their precious seals and desynth.

People are mostly ignoring it because of the first half where you basically demanded that others pass on drops for your friend, which is quite frankly ridiculous. Talk to people, ask them to pass, but don't cry if they're not willing to pass on drops they've spent time on as well. You and your friends' time isn't worth more than theirs.

Nowhere does it say that new people should get the loot, what it says is that those who ask for the loot because they actually NEED it, rather than just being for seals/desynth stuff should have more right to it.

I don't see what you are complaining about. A couple days ago we had a new player get their first job to 50. Last night we took her into Ifrit, Garuda, and Titan for wins and she got the weapon from all 3 ... and NONE were for her current job.

Oh yeah ... one difference is since we wanted her to get the weapons for other jobs, we formed a full party and everyone passed to her

You can't always get a full team, more likely not during the working / schooling hours of the server.

But what if I "need" it for the GC seals so I can complete my Nexus/Zodiac weapon?

Or I'm currently leveling my desynthing?

Don't I have just as much of a right to the item that drops in the very same instance I did as you?
