Novus weapon upgrade system findings

well if we can use any level of materia then that's not as bad, though I'm have to temporarily stop leveleing my crafts and sale a ton of mats so I can have room to spirit bond all this crap

Later patch is for Novus... presumable the scroll can be replaced if you screw up before that...

Quick question friends:

Will I only need to obtain materia for secondary stats?

Like since I'm a MNK, I would only need to worry about getting ACC and SKL-SPD, or should I be reading this differently?

I am scared... materia price is going to explode....

According to this image, you won't have that problem. 0/75 stats when you obtain it, looking at the patch notes and Gae Bolg, we see that he has 44 Crit and 31 Skill Speed, which adds up to 75.

It's a more reasonable assumption than going nuts over materia IV prices going to skyrocket.
