This game lacks the experience, too casual?

And we get to the root of it. This is another "FFXIV should be FFXI HD" thread. You're quite late to the party. These are 2 very different games built on 2 very different engines and 2 very different ideas. They will never be the same. If you don't like that, you probably won't like this game at all, ever. The expansion will more than likely add some more open content, but that's still about 5-6 months away at least.

As far as leveling goes, that definitely won't change. Many, many people wanted this, even from 1.0 which had incredibly fast lvling towards the end. Fighting the big enemies and general raids that require some form of strategy are preferred over taking a long time to get to 50 in the first place. Also, the fact you can have and maintain every job on 1 character makes it attractive to have multiple jobs at 50 so you can change to what you need.

All it's going to do is let new players go from i50 to whatever the new item lvl is by that time, while skipping over all the content we have now / will get by then.

Tbh, I'd prefer it if they did make new players grind through all the things we have to now. Why play a game if you're going to skip 90% of said game?

Aaaaand how is removing the Myth cap going to make it so you can jump over everything?
How do you plan to skip most of the content when the story stuff is tiered?
You can't speedrun Myth AND you get less of it.
The cap is gone, sure.
Because Myth is used for any and everything, people are trying to amass it.
They don't want to carry people when they're undergeared and the parties they get into are going to be slowed.
You're not skipping from AF to whatever overnight.
You may get i90 quicker, but you still have to grind through all the actual content.
Titan is still going to kill people.
You can get to higher ilvls more quickly, but you're not skipping anything content-wise.
Half the new content is locked behind other content.
You can gear up and experience it more quickly without the grinding, but how is that skipping 90% of said game?
It feels like less progression struggle to clear the old stuff, sure, but at that point its not even relevant, so why bother forcing people to climb up the hill even more than they already have to?

Get a good ls/fc to carry me. Coil has 15 percent buff, myth is free pretty much, soldiery gear easy to get. Get caught up in no time.

This game being a worse version of WoW is entirely subjective. I enjoy this game much more because rotations actually consist of more than 5 buttons. Of course WoW has more content, it's much older. It's also worthy to note that there are less dungeons in this game, but every boss has a mechanic and each one feels different than the other, which I cannot say for WoW. From a design perspective, adding more low and mid level content would not be smart as it would have less longevity because leveling in this game is fast as hell anyways, and that time and money could be spent for endgame content. Judging by your achievements, you've barely scratched the surface of endgame content, so saying that the gameplay isn't interesting is a groundless argument.

Getting carried through content could happen regardless, with or without the Myth cap.
Even if Myth was still capped, you could still be carried.
People were carried with the cap.
My point is that the removal of the cap isn't the sole cause of being able to skip content.

Easier now with the 15 percent echo buff and gear becoming obsolete so fast. Spam a few coils, pow full ilvl 90. Over geared for Extremes and Levi.

Heck you probably can get carried in Coil df groups now seeing how easy it is.
