Hey guys as far as the letter is concerned a buddy of mine said an admin on the french forums popped in and said the letter has been translated and will be posted tomorrow. Can anyone verify this?

EDIT: He was reading an old post ><..sorry i jumped the gun without old info

Somehow I doubt the delay is due to translating seeing as most of the letter is pretty pictures.

You do have to feel sorry for the people that honestly thought they were putting finishing touches on raid videos to be released with the letter and that's why it was delayed. You poor dears D:

With the 'translation' delay though I think we all assumed the letter was going to be at least a bit more substantial.

Also before anyone decides to complain about the fact some of us are disappointed...disappointment is a human emotion, I'm sorry I'm only human x.x

My guess is that the letter was held up until they felt comfortable enough to announce a firm patch date.

The previously announced range was March 6th-9th. With each passing day, they probably looked at what still had to be done and realized that the earlier part of that time frame wasn't going to happen. Finally they got to the point where they figured that they could most likely get 1.21 out on the 9th barring any major bugs, so they inserted the date into the already translated letter and posted it. That would be my guess.

In any event, I'd imagine that the fact that everything takes longer than expected is tougher on them than it is on us. But I'm happy that Yoshida wants the job quests to be just right. I do, too! ;)

Yeah we really need those R30 quests to be glorious and fantastic so we don't finish them all on day one...

Didn't they say a while back the patch would be 6-9th March (i.e. assume March 9th)? Not bitching about the actual patch beng delayed just...I wouldn't really class that as new information to be fair. ^^;

During the Course of the two delays, they never once gave us a "Numbered date". Now that they have gave as a Solid date, I can look forward to next week. I knew delays would happened its practically inevitable, but when you have 2 delays with no date, then they suddenly give us a date for the patch... I trust them that they will deliver on that date.. I like it that way, that they don't give us a date till there absolutely sure they can meet it.

and they just did that now.

I really hope so~

I would even settle for made up patch notes, as long as they are presented in a list format and do not reference the hospital or a delay.

I would believe you if that wasn't exactly what we've been saying for nearly 2 weeks...

I'll go ahead and not expect anything because the level of info in the lodestone posts lately is nearly that. Shit maybe we'll get two lines of lore explaining absolutely nothing.
