Overlooking the flaw of the player queue, the concept of this game is that those with limited schedules can find fulfillment within 2-3 hours playtime a day on average. Palace, Ex Trials, Duty Roullette, it all exists within supplementary form that you can throw yourself into it and make progress. Whether by a little or a lot, it's stupid easy to cap tomes for the week not even doing all your roulettes, or gathering tokens to turn in for your primal weapon, doing last turn of alex for the weekly, the weekly drops of 24-mans, even running Palace or Aqua a couple times for the night, making money or getting a weapon. And that's just battle content. I've easily leveled a crafting class doing moogle dailies, and a gatherer doing GC turn ins.
Someone who has only so much time on their hands can easily manage a play schedule to get the most out of every hour they have.
