I assume those "foreign troops" are just like any other humanoid already in the game, with maybe slightly different armour and different names.

Even by track record:

Proves that there's quite a bit they can do that you can't judge by "oh look screenshot shows 2 mobs I've seen before, FAIL!"
First impressions of Abyssea was "it will fail, nothing new nothing exciting yet more fail content from SE"
....fast foward almost a year later. It's called Final Abyssea XI for a reason.
Abriael what you may possibly not be understanding by "copy paste" is that it's an over-exaggeration of "similar" environments. There's generally little to no creative work that differentiates the majority of areas within themselves to say "YES there's some originality here!"
All neighboring areas around the 3 major cities are rehashed, they're massive areas with "copy-paste" environments. Yeah each hill and each bump and each rock is slightly different than the last, but all in all it all looks the same.
I'm trying to keep it as factual as possible here so it's not a war of my opinion vs. yours. Fact is, SE has received negative criticism for this exact topic, fact is, SE has by word admitted to it (although in their defense, file size has been their argument) and fact is that THAT - LOOKS like mun-tuy cellars. It's likely not an EXACT replica but based on previous trends, what is likely is that just around the corner of that low-res preview image, is going to be more of the same textures, same vines, mossy brick walls same same same so on and so forth. nothing visually in that preview is exciting, and certainly NOTHING is indication of something that isn't rehashed.
I won't troll and go as far to say everythin in the dungeon is going to be the same. That'd be ignorant as we haven't seen the final product. But again, you can't blame some of us for being less than excited based on WHAT WAS SHOWN...
Just to point out another similarity between this and Mun-Tuy/Tam-Tara: one of the main mobs in those zones is the "poacher" mob. Mithras with face masks and Spears/Knuckles named "Toad Poacher", etc.Quote:
...the endless cells of this notorious dungeon once held such heinous criminals as poachers and arsonists.
That is your opinion, which you are more than entitled to, but I disagree. If anything, I see it as penalizing players for getting to r50. Shouldn't I be getting an appropriate reward for getting to rank 50? Instead you'd have be be capped at 35 just so I can run through content that WOULD have been challenging when I was rank 25, for gear that I don't even need. Seems like a recipe for failure to me.
If they put a level cap on content like this, I will most likely ignore it because I would rather play content appropriate to my level rather than being forced to play content that is meaningless to my level.
