Let's set some ground definitions:
Opening movie: Movie that happens before you even start a new game.
Opener (really should be called prologue or intro): movie that starts when the game starts.
Teaser: footage or montage of footages released before the product to stir up excitement and desire for said product.
These are industry standard definitions. Regardless of what you or I say they should or should not mean, this is what they mean to vast majority of people as well as the people who make said product and made the terms.

Which means, if I made that too vague, yes, it is where teasing footage is suppose to go.
About replying to a teaser vs a teasing footage, I already explained this point:
I should have said "opening movie" instead of opener, but I was trying to not get too technical. The point, however, still stands. As seen from the quote above.
And yes, as I mentioned before, teasing footages do belong in an opening movie because:
