XIV is made exclusively for hardcore players.
It's designed arround Japanese NEETs to be predatory on their health issues. Abuses of FOMO.
At least thats my perspective, and i don't play little, i guess im just unefficient and feel like everything is too far away, like role mounts, mentor things, pfffffff
I would love to see a compromise between XI and XIV. XI wasn't accessible enough (played it for 7 years, though) whereas XIV is way too easy and dumbed down unless you do current endgame (been playing since closed alpha of 1.0).
And while I really like Eureka's zones and Bozja's CEs, I find it funny that people say that they imitate XI. It's a very crude approximation if anything.
A compromise would be to finally put anything dangerous that require more than thank 'n spank into the overworld. And I'd love to have Bozja's potion system, too. Anything that helps me differentiate from others job-wise would be very appreciated without disturbing SE's obsession with balance in the endgame.
