We have a large % of females in our FC, and I'm not taking guys who play girls. Also you'd be surprised how many girls play games - and Im not talking mobile/Facebook games. I'm talking PC and console games. It's a lot larger than you think.

But the average female gamer has played for 13 years, and many are increasingly dedicated. The number of girls and women playing those consoles more than five days a week has grown tenfold since 2011, to 13 million this year, Newzoo said.

Gaming in 2011: About 30 Million males and 10 million females played games on Sony and Microsoft's big consoles. About About 1.2 million girls and women said they played five days a week or more.
...and gaming in 2014: the number of female gamers grew more than 70 percent (to 30.3 million), while males grew 45 percent (to 45.3 million). More than 13 million girls and women said they play five days or more a week -- 11 times as many as in 2011.
and that is discussing console games, not mobile games.

Yet America's 190 million gamers, 48 percent of whom are women, still play in a harsh frontier. About 70 percent of female gamers said they played as male characters online in hopes of sidestepping sexual harassment, according to a study cited by "Hate Crimes in Cyberspace" author and law professor Danielle Keats Citron.
So just because you don't see us, doesn't mean we aren't playing.
