Bard Nerfs Offically Confirmed

BRD have a total of 5 dps skills, 3 that can be pressed in one macro, another one for 2 dots, stack cooldowns into one macro. They can chill in the back with the BLMs, away from red zones, pressing 2 keys over and over, playing a song here and there, and shooting out interrupts. They can maintain dps on the move from red zones with no cast times other than their songs, which they don't need to keep up at all times anyways. Bard damage isn't as amazing as a monk that has ramp up time with 3 GL stacks, but they're a no risk-high reward class with what they bring.

There were even videos of an all bard team with a couple of healers and tank, in crap gear, doing Titan HM and clearing it with no problems.

News flash.. titan isn't hard, and any 4 dps can down it just fine.. add a 5th and just lol? I don't see what an all bard titan run proves. You can do that with any dps job.

Will still be playing bard. It was always intended on being a support role, not a main dps role. Getting a damage reduction was only a matter of time.

For you dps nerds, you might as well level up all dps classes if you "must" be at the top. The "best" class will constantly change as long as the game is running.

Oh if BRD gets nerfed I will just quit, simple as that. They plan on making the bard a useless class since our songs are the only real use we have in end game, then people trying to level up a bard will have even more of an issue, I'm not QQing as I couldn't really care less as I am only a casual gamer and the underlining truth is I don't want to focus on another class I liked my ranged pew pew Bard, so yeah way to go SE you managed to take the enjoyment out of the one class I enjoyed playing give yourself a round of applause. :)

Oh and I understand that we are supposed to be a support class, but to nerf our damage without giving anything in return is just a plain is a horrible design change, but whatever SE its your game.

You're not QQing, just on the verge on rage quitting over unkown changes. It could something as simple as a cast time for straight shot so you dont' have 100% dps while on the move. It could be a little more drastic by putting Bloodletter on the GCD.

I can then spam my attacks all day long without having to watch enmity meter or flashing orange triangles and worry about taking threat from tank if I'm not careful!

Yeah I suppose its rage quitting, and to be honest its a multitude of things, not just the bard nerf but allot of other issues....I mean the game just doesn't seem fun anymore...I feel like my only enjoyment now is to log in every week to get myth cap and maybe do a few runs of coils.. BRD was pretty much the only class I found enjoyment with.

Bard nerfs probably won't be extreme. And bad dps still will be bad dps. The crying will continue...

I find it more amusing people were bitching about a nerf in PVE content, I mean this doesn't help anyone other than letting other DPS stroke their Ego's and say that they do more DPS now, poor healers now your job will be even harder because now bards won't be so quick to use their mana songs since they would take even more DPS reduction.
