All character tab done: 560
Items tab: 15
Crafting tab: 290 points(4 tools earned)
Gathering Tab: 330
Materia: 135
Quests: 145
Season: 95
Dungeons: 20

Basicaly, i dont focus on 1 thing at a time, im doing everything all the time, and i do EVERYTHING pretty much

the only achievments im skipping are the 5/10k leve ones, those are just too much to bother with since itl take years

also i missed 40 points up there somewhere, not sure where but one of those tabs is low

No, i'm not being nitpicky. Some one said I was wrong and it's only been 24hrs, I pointed out it's been 48. So why the hate?

You guys can White Knight FFXIV all you want, it still doesn't make up for the fact that the month of Feb has been a huge month of Fail for this team.

1) In the MMO industry, Its probably more the norm for info, updates, and fixes to be late then on time, more the norm by miles. It happens alot when dealing with mechanical, electronic, or programing issues. You have a job? Oh for the love of god... Who cares if it comes a day later? The man has his hands full with 2 projects Current 1.xx patch and 2.0... No game nor Company has ever taken up a task like this after a failed Launch.. This is unspeakable grounds here.. this takes a lot of hard work and dedication to pull off something like this..... if it comes on March 1st instead of Feb. 29th so what? the man has alot on his plate.. granted he shouldn't have given a date of something he couldn't meet that much I agree with you, on the other hand... a day or 2 of a delay of the letter... and people complain... sheesh :/.

For what it's worth, I think it's not just the delay in the letter that irks people, it's the lack of information on all grounds. I know this is square Enix, but times have changed and dev teams are usually much more open about what's going on behind the scenes in an MMO these days. I'm not /wristing about how quiet it's been or anything, but I can see the reason why people are fretting.

SE communication is simply not good in this day and age. Better than before sure, but still... Oh well :)

Quiet= they are more Focused on the Patch and getting it done
Talking alot= Taking the time out of the patch what they could have been working on said patch.

Now don't get me wrong, they should be more Communicative to the Community that's paying SE for their Services. However, I developed a Mentally, that when they are not talking for a while.. It's because they want to get this patch Perfected, to give us a quality patch, rather than a rushed patch that's buggy.

That's just how my brain works, and I'm glad i'm one of the patient ones. people that are inpatient will be.. well... like all the other unnecessary threads that people make, then troll overtime. I'm quite grateful for who I am =).

It's probably because they're holding out on revealing info in the letter, since the update is next week after all.

Anyone still think current delay has no impact for future patches? I remember when some people said a few months ago how 1.21 will be late because of the delay of 1.20, other people defended SE to death saying 1.21 will come out right on schedule.

Guess what? 1.21 is supposed to come out early Feb and it turns out to be early March.

If anyone still think 1.22 will come out right on schedule which is supposed to be mid April, they need to get their head examined.

At this point I think Yoshida is just doing this to mess with all the forum QQers. Remember that server merger idea of his you axed last month? Payback.

He had to go this route because Punishing Barbs was still on cooldown.

They don't work on 1 patch, finish then work on the next, so no it won't have an effect on 1.22 or 1.23. Best part is, 1.21 would have been out on the projected date but Yoshi-p wanted specific changes to certain things and underestimated the size of the patch.

1.20 didn't have an effect on 1.21.

Interesting though I would have to say it was never stated by SE nor Yoshi that 1.21 was delayed because 1.20... If there is a post with such a saying in it I would love for one of you humans to link it because I just don't see it. Could 1.20 have delayed 1.21 eh not likely it was more like they took on so much for one patch it pushed things out beyond what they thought. Will the delay of 1.21 cause 1.22 to be delayed eh maybe but probably not and if 1.22 is delayed its probably due to what is going into 1.22 and what was pushed out of 1.21... though until they actually come out and go "hey guys 1.21 delay is now going to cause 1.22 to be delayed" then I will stick with the delay of one patch really doesn't affect the next patch so much. Also I do work in programming systems and I do put out patches and I have yet to have 1 delayed patch cause another patch to be delayed since they can be worked on pretty much at the same time.

But you humans love to be impatient and whine about any minor thing that happens... so I guess I will just go out with this...

This letter and the patch notes and such will never come out until this topic hit 1K posts in it... so almost there...

You can spin time zone all you like but from the time Reinheart made the translation till now has been about 48 hours.

It doesn't take 24 hours to translate a letter, as Vedis said though it could be due to problems with videos, but if that's the case they should just do a separate post later in the week showing those.
