The Frontlines Premade issue has not been fixed.

It reminds me of similar complaints in other PvP games about hidden elo ratings and 'skill based matchmaking'. People were upset they were getting matched against others of the same skill as them, instead of being able to have fun preying on newbies.

PvPers tend to pride themselves having skill, especially the kind of skill PvE content doesn't teach you. But you can see how much of that is a sham when it comes to things like this.

Also the two scenarios are not comparable. Feast queues are based on role so if all 4 of you tried syncing, your healer would get an instant pop, the rest of you would be in a 5-20 minute queue. Other than it being scummy there's a reason no one does it. Frontlines do not have the same system.

I meant that wins/achievments system since HWs has been the same for counting and pretending they freelanced those wins on other GCs was silly.


Next I didn't say it was possible. I said how would they feel if players found a loophole to abuse the system the same way. Just because something is broken in game doesn't mean you should do it. Specially if you wouldn't defend the same behavior in other aspects of the game. So even knowing that it would be very unlikely to stack players onto a feast team. If players figured out a way to play with their friends and improve the quality of players they could play with. Which are two of the most common complaints. You would approve that? If so I am sorry for questioning the defense of the current state of frontlines. It is clear that we have very different opinions about fair play. I respect someone who can come out and say they are on that side even if I think the reason is questionable.



So future "sorry" if that is how people think these modes should be played.

And again, I'm having to reword something that would seemingly be quite simple to just about anyone who has even queued one game of Feast in their life; there can't be a loophole in exactly the way you're suggesting because of the way our queue system works. It'd be like having 4 people try to individually queue sync levelling roulette, what do you think the chances are they'll all get in the same one? Slim to non existent; because they'll all have different role positions in the queue. We don't "need" to stack players on a Feast team, everyone knows everyone above Plat anyway and for the most part, people do get on and like each other; as far as I'm concerned, 60% of the time I'm already on a stacked team with my friends, and 30 out of the remaining 40 there's at least 2 people I'll know. This isn't unique to Light or Chaos, it just happens to also be the exact same on Crystal - where you're based. The vast majority of times, at ranks that actually matter, I'm happy with the quality of team I've been given, even if I will whinge about a singular weak link in it in Discord. Probably best not to talk in hypotheticals about something you clearly know nothing about; no disrespect meant.

Look at the ladder again. You are saying those players freelanced. Won a percentage of games on other GCs. Yet still only 4 other people from other two GCs made the list. Do you think that is actually possible. That you got 15 adder(example) wins. Those players got no other wins except when you were on the team. That the pool of players is so large that you never met the same players or a percentage of players when you won on adders. They are not freelancing wins the idea that the list looks the way it does because Mael freelanced won a percentage of games freelanced and was able to push all other GC players out of that list seems almost impossible.

You are missing my point. I understand it is impossible as currently constructed in feast to stack teams. That you are also generally happy with the distribution of players under the current ranking system in feast. I am asking would you defend a system that allowed trying to create teams that go past the max amount of players the devs allow on teams. So ranked feast you get one player on frontline you get four. The grand companies is a loophole in frontlines. I am trying to understand. That the reasons given playing with friends and players that are deemed better. Should be allowed to bypass systems built into the game. This is the type of behavior that players approve of. You also get the advantage knowing you don't have to worry about people actually abusing feast que. So I will have to take you at your honest word.

The latest changes handing out battle high for assists have made the situation far, far worse.

Uphill battles against the "premade grand company" that were winnable pre-5.1 by regrouping and slowly building up coordination have now become farces where the GC with the premades just builds up battle high in the first 2 minutes and is an unstoppable juggernaut after.

In b4 the people abusing this system continue to abuse people on this thread.

Who knew having to compete on an even field from now on would get people so riled up like this. Time to adapt kids!

GC sync queue being gone is the best Christmas present. Eight man teams back would be best though.

8v8v8 solo que only roulette with the old 3 maps would be fantastic

PVE casuals ruining PVP for people who like pvp because they can't form their own parties/improve themselves? Nothing new under the sun I guess.

Waiting for Top 100 feast to be gone and just hand out free season rewards for everyone and a kiss in the forehead.

There's plenty of people who are good at PvP who are welcoming these changes. God forbid we like some competitive games when none of our friends are online in a casual PvP mode like frontlines.
